After 2 years I got a call about the state of the property. I hired 3 people who could not cut the vegetation due to cement, bricks and debris EVERYWHERE. I called Smiley who denied that he had simply covered the debris rather than remove it. I demanded that he meet me at the property and he refused to clear it unless I paid $250 to clean it AGAIN, even though he had left the debris in violation of the contract. While he was there, he cut vegetation on a strip of land ON THE ADJACENT PROPERTY which is owned by someone else. When informed that it was not my property, he admitted that he had cleared the property AND CHARGED ME FOR THE WORK, and worse, HAS REFUSED TO REFUND MY MONEY, even though it is ILLEGAL to charge me for work done on someone else's property. Now is demanding payment for re-cleaning my property. He has cursed and acted like a complete jerk, yelling and screaming and refusing to even LISTEN to my argument. Threatening to sue me EVEN THOUGH HE DID NOT DO THE WORK PROPERLY First OR second time. I have had it inspected and he STILL has left debris on the property. Take a hard pass at this company.
