Wow Wow Wow. That's all we have been saying about Steve's video production of our wedding. Hiring…read morehim was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The work speaks for itself, but working with him has been one pleasant surprise after another. I had met Steve at another event. He was a photographer at the event. At that event, my wife and I already liked him because he was very funny and personable. My boss had also spoken highly of Steve's work, which is saying a lot because my boss is a VERY detailed oriented person. We were in need of a wedding videographer at that time and he was immediately able to provide some samples of his work. The following interview to discuss the details of the wedding and the pricing for his services went pretty smooth as well. To be honest, we had shopped around for a wedding videographer. My wife is Korean and she had a preference for Korean vendors. However, Steve's enthusiasm, passion for his work, and competitive pricing for services convinced her that he was the right man for the job. He already impressed us with his portfolio at that point and he made a couple of statements that suggested he was going to be A LOT of fun to work with. I had asked him to just to make a documentary style recording (due to many family members not being able to attend due to COVID restrictions) and he started pleading to let him "make a couple of edits" (it was more than a couple of edits, LOL, more on that later). He also asked us for "permission to dance" along with the wedding party (which of course was a "yes!"). During the wedding, he worked well with all the vendors that we hired. The photographers were quite well known in the Korean community and Steve was able to film video with them harmoniously. Steve was also very interested and respectful of some of the unique cultural traditions that were presented at the wedding and he captured the essence of them beautifully in the final video. Also, he did literally dance along to our dancing and singing as he said he would. My mother thought that was very funny. Also, it didn't appear to affect the cinematography as well. One thing I have found out about Steve is that it is probably better to let him be his creative self. He is very mindful about how people are presented in his work and is willing to alter his work to accommodate others, such as "not putting my singing in the video." However, my wife and I have basically told him to "just go ahead do whatever and have fun." We were especially glad to have let him freestyle after he put out that teaser of our wedding. My wife and her friends were stunned with his work and they were saying that the video "almost looks like a big budget movie!" We also just got done seeing his draft for the final film he created of our wedding and we were blown away. My wife has said that the second half of the video looks like a "music video." Steve had sent us that draft just to see if we wanted anything changed, but it was amazing already as it was. We can't wait to see the final product. I can also tell from a technical standpoint that he is very talented in video editing. He is able to remove sounds, add sounds, and time the scenes to the music very well. There are portions of the video where he is able to sync the crowd sound to the music. More impressively, he was able to sync the scenes to a Korean Kpop song (and I am pretty sure that he had to study what was being said in that song). Steve also provided us the service of giving us everything that was recorded during the wedding in addition to his edited video. Overall, my wife and I have been very impressed with his services and we can't wait to see the completed form of the wedding video. I definitely recommend getting a wedding videographer during this day and age of COVID restrictions and I 100% recommend to hire Steve as your wedding videographer or photographer.

When I got in front of the camera, Steven got me talking and laughing and it didn't feel awkward. I really couldn't believe the shots he got. It was a very easy process from the moment of booking all the through to receiving the final product. I would book him now if you are thinking about it because I just can't see him being available for very long. He's talented and has packages to work with events/budgets. It's excellent service from start to finish.

We had a christening ceremony on the beach and it was a bit windy with sounds of the waves, as well as several different people speaking but he was able to utilize all his audio equipment and editing skills to capture everything including adding our music in afterwards when necessary. He handled our family group very well (including several elderly members) and the kids felt at ease in front of his camera as well which was the most impressive since we now have high quality footage for my young daughter to look back on as a keepsake for all time! Andre happened to be one of the first people I contacted, and he was the first person who replied. His price was more than fair and the samples I had seen on his Website and Facebook page were excellent, so I went with his company. He was great. I have four small children, and he worked very well with them. We got great pictures for a great price. He had them edited and sent us a digital copy by the next day. When my business was looking for a photographer for a big anniversary event we were having, I quickly recommended Andre Fox. It was a short notice job, and Andre already had a few jobs booked that day but he managed to squeeze us in. Again, every was perfect. He showed up on time, he got the shots we asked for, and because of some issues at the event (which had nothing to do with Andre) he offered to stay longer at to get some better shots at no extra charge. Pictures of the event were edited and digitally sent to us within a few days. I have recommended Andre to family and friends, and I highly recommended him to you.

She gave us tons of recommendations for other vendors, many of whom became instrumental parts of our day, like Kelsey Crews Photo and Tanya of RSVP Weddings & Events. She became a friend throughout the long process of our wedding planning and she even met up with us when we drove down to Santa Barbara to check out some venues and meet some vendors. She showed us this hidden gem of a ceremony venue that I fell head over heels in love with (although unfortunately we didn't get to be married there because I let my husband have his first choice of ceremony venue, as it was one of the only things he actually cared about). My husband and I are both pretty introverted and awkward people, and hate being the center of attention and people looking at us, so we were NOT looking forward to being filmed or photographed. However, Jennie (and our photographer Kelsey Crews) were so warm and sweet and fun that they actually made the photoshoot one of the most enjoyable parts of the day! The 4 of us went off after the ceremony before the reception to film some footage and take photos, and we had an absolute blast! Jennie was even kind enough to send a 1-min sneak peek video the day after our wedding that I got to watch on repeat basically the entire 4.5 hour car ride back to the Bay Area! Choosing Riviera Productions to shoot our day was the single best decision I made throughout this entire process, because without Jennie (and some of the other vendors she introduced us to), we never would have had even close to as perfect a day as we did. The entire day was magic, and we have Jennie to thank for that. Jennie is kind and generous and flexible and we feel very fortunate to have her not just as our videographer, but as a lifelong friend. I really look forward to meeting her for a hike next time we're in Santa Barbara!

You ever watch documentaries or highlights of athletes and you think, wow they made them look…read moreiconic, how did they do that? Well after watching our wedding video that this amazing team has done for us, I cannot believe how great they made us look! Let's start from the very beginning ... As our wedding date was set, my girl and I were looking for a great videography team that had style, had passion and also had experience with the venue we were having our wedding at. After looking through our venue's IG page, a specific video caught my eye and it happened to be done by the wonderful FilmLife team. I had already reached out to 2 other videography teams and as we spoke with each of these videography teams, it was easy to choose FilmLife. First off, the first interaction with FilmLife was genuine; upon meeting a very friendly Trenton, he asked very specific questions that were outside of the wedding plans as well as related to the wedding plans to gauge what kind of couple we are. As soon as both Trenton and us realized we had good chemistry and that this would be a fun day to be around each other, it was an easy decision. I really appreciated this vetting process because you want to be comfortable from both behind and in front of the camera. The other videography teams were very "cookie-cutter", they didn't ask much about us other than our dates and we never got to speak with the videographer who'd work with us, it was just yes we'll take you and here's what it'll cost. Trenton sat down and took time out of his day to also see if we'd be a couple he'd shoot with and after an hour call that felt like 10 minutes, it was an easy decision. We went through the packages that FilmLife had and FilmLife was very flexible and understanding of what we were looking for. As weeks went by and the wedding date approaching, Trenton sat down with us through zooms and was able to help craft our story, customized to us with questions about us as a couple, our history, what our future looks like and what we are excited for at the wedding. These types of questions help with your own vows and we appreciated having these sessions to help truly understand why we were getting married. May I also say that Trenton always had enthusiasm with these sessions; we understand that Trenton and his wife and team were very busy because of their schedule but our sessions always felt as if the wedding was tomorrow and FilmLife was eager to shoot. The wedding day comes in and Trenton arrives with another videographer, the man Jacob. These two provide the game plan that had been reviewed multiple times before the day but it felt like everything flowed smoothly. Trenton would be with us for one part and then Jacob as well and the duo just had great chemistry working with each other as well as our wedding party. It was just fun all around. Never did we felt like we were in front of a camera, but also when Trenton and Jacob were able to chat, they felt like just one of our friends hanging out. When it's your wedding day, you're bound to feel the jitters of the day but with the all stars of Trenton and Jacob, you felt calm and loose and just overall excited. Plus both these guys hit all the highlights we wanted them to record and after a long and fun and momentous day, both Trenton and Jacob showed enthusiasm, a sense of style and eye for the moment and were extremely professional. Finally wrapping up, we received our sneak peeks sooner than we thought and we were astonished as to how amazing FilmLife made our day look. Trenton found the perfect music for our trailer and we shared with all our friends and they all were equally impressed. The hard work and long hours FilmLife put into our day showed immediately and we are just so grateful that Trenton and Jacob were able to spend the day with us to capture our memories. If anyone is getting married and wants the Jedi of videography, there really is no equal. Thank you FilmLife, we are so thankful and grateful for your hard work throughout this process and your big smiles at our wedding and even to this day! Wish you guys the best!

We cannot recommend FilmLife enough! From the moment we started looking for a videographer, we knew…read morewe wanted someone who could create a timeless film that captured every aspect of our wedding day. We didn't just want a video, we wanted a true reflection of our love and the joy we felt. Trenton & Bethany delivered that and more--they captured every meaningful moment beautifully and seamlessly. Like many couples, we had concerns going into the process. Our biggest fear was finding someone who was just in it for the money and wouldn't give us the attention our special day deserved. Trenton completely put those worries to rest. He and his wife took the time to get to know us--not just as clients, but as people--so that they could understand our story and what we wanted out of our wedding film. It was clear that they genuinely cared about creating something amazing for us, and that dedication was evident in the final product. The process was so much more than just shooting our wedding. The Storybuilding Session was one of the highlights for us and allowed them to get a sense of our past and our vision for the future, making sure everything was planned to capture the essence of our love. We would have probably waited until the last minute to write our vows, and they wouldn't have been nearly as meaningful as they were without the guidance we received. On the wedding day itself, Trenton and his team was absolutely incredible. They worked seamlessly with our timeline and made sure they captured all of our dreams for the day. They were flexible, adaptable, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. We didn't have to worry about a thing--we could just focus on enjoying our day while knowing we were in good hands. When we finally received our wedding film, we were blown away. It beautifully showcases the effortless joy of our day, capturing moments of love, laughter, and emotion in such a genuine and natural way. We couldn't be more grateful for the care and effort they put into every detail. And to top it all off, FilmLife went above and beyond by providing us with extra photos, a longer video, and even a same-day edit--none of which we had asked for or paid for. Their generosity truly showed how committed they are to making every couple's experience special. If you're considering FilmLife for your wedding, don't hesitate. We know that budget can be a concern for many couples, but we can honestly say that every penny spent was worth it. The memories they've helped us create are priceless, and we will cherish this film forever. It's something that our loved ones, children, and even grandchildren will be able to watch and treasure for years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend FilmLife to any couple looking for a wedding videographer who will go above and beyond to capture the magic of their day. Their attention to detail, personal approach, and outstanding work made our wedding day even more unforgettable. You won't regret choosing them!
