While working in Williamston, I had some dry cleaning that needed to be taken care of. Being away…read morefrom my trusty dry cleaners at home, I searched for a local place to take my wears. Upon walking into Williamston Cleaners, I noticed the massive size of the place. This place must do a ton of business. I was greeted by a lady who was just about the sweetest lady in Williamston. I told her I had never been there before and was trusting her with my wardrobe for a good cleaning. She was ever so grateful for the new business, went through my pieces, and asked when I wanted to pick them up. I told her it didn't matter but gave her days I would be in the area. She actually offered the next day, but not being in that much of a hurry, I told her 2-3 days was plenty of time. She gave me a ticket and away I went. I went back on the day the clothing was to be ready, and voila! My clothes were ready, spotless, and pressed just the way I like them. I was even able to score a $5 off coupon to use on my next visit. I will say that Williamston Cleaners are a bit more pricey than I am used to, but with the speedy service and the great job, I can understand why. I will definitely be back!

The people working there work very hard but the clientele can be inconsiderate and entitled. For…read moreexample, I went in on a Saturday morning to have two pair of jeans hemmed. I sat down rather than stand in line, so one woman who came in with a dress to be altered took advantage of my momentary distraction and took my rightful turn and skipped me. I ended up waiting at least another 30 minutes (an hour total) to be given attention and she had major alterations that she wanted the same day and she didn't even have on the same undergarments that she was planning to wear. As you can imagine this made the woman pinning the garment for alterations at a disadvantage. She had to keep repinning the garment at the woman's whims. Her daughter along with her had a formal dress to be hemmed. But she didn't have the shoes she'd be wearing and the woman who had to mark up the dress for alterations had to go search for similarly heeled shoes that the woman described she'd be wearing so she could stand on top of them to have the dress prepared for alterations. Both mother and daughter wanted their clothes ready the same day within a few hours. So inconsiderate of the workers. And of the other customers. I will not be back. I am sorry that the tailors and other workers there have to tolerate these kinds of inconsiderate jerks.
