The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly everything we ordered felt like it was made with care. But the real surprise was the robot servers rolling food out to the tables. It sounds gimmicky, but it was actually really fun to watch and added something different to the whole experience. Service from the staff was still attentive and friendly, and the place had a nice, lively vibe without feeling chaotic. Definitely a spot I'd go back to if I'm in the area again.

We decided to do a la carte. We ordered the following: * strawberry spring - very refreshing and delicious. Doesn't taste like a lot of alcohol but it's definitely in there * salmon sashimi - some pieces were very frozen and after complaining, they gave us new pieces which were much fresher and less frozen * green dragon roll - wished this one had more sauce * chicken mono - this one had too much sauce and was overly too salty * bacon beef - a little dry and tough * raw oysters - a bit on the smaller side but still very fresh Overall the food was pretty decent for the price. I think this restaurant is worth checking out based on their customer service, clean and spacious area, and cheap prices. They also have cute little robots that bring you your food!

I needed a treat and luckily they were offering takeout. The idea of people handling my food during this health scare led to choose a restaurant where I could trust that a skilled chef was putting extra care into their food prep. And oh, did I hit the jackpot! The lady who took my order on the phone was super sweet. I ordered the Sashimi dinner and it was ready before I was. Her and Chef Koji were the only ones in the place when I picked up my order. For starters, the miso soup was hearty, the salad was spectacular and super fresh - the masago in the salad was a delightful surprise and lifted the salad to a whole other level. The rice was perfect and the sashimi fresh and beautiful. My only disappointment is that I couldn't enjoy this meal on real plates in the resto. I believe that sushi is an Art and it gets lost in our Western ideals of more bang-for-your-buck AYCE type dining. I am one of those people who enjoys AYCE, for the variety. This place shows me that it's better to pay more $ for good quality food that makes my body feel good than go for AYCE and get mediocre food and eat more than my body really needs. However I wishes the bone shop is more rich n added up to the noodle top. Further more I prefer the pork is a little bit thicker. Anyway for $15 it's fair n shouldn't asking too much.

Lowering your expectations is also a good approach. The place was packed on Saturday evening, but we still got a table right away. It was located at the back of the room, next to the cash registers. Next time, I would definitely prefer to wait for better seating. Did I overeat? Yes, I did, but no regrets, and I would do it again :). The cucumber and kani salad were very good. We tried all three sushi appetizers. Beef gyozas and shrimp tempura from the kitchen appetizers section were yum. The tempura was pleasantly crunchy, and I almost ordered more. Our favorite things were classic rolls, salmon and yellowtail. The least favorite were the Classic Roll with Spicy Salmon and the Queen Roll with spicy tuna. No offense, but I thought spicy salmon and tuna that evening were pretty bad with absolutely no taste. I compared it to eating sawdust, but actually I've never eaten sawdust, so it was kind of mean from my side. We liked the flavors in general. The Christmas, the Rainbow, the Hollywood and the Dancing Crab (the most handsome) rolls were all very tasty. Perhaps due to the restaurant's high volume, some of our food was prepared very sloppily. I can only imagine how quickly all the chefs had to work to fulfill all the orders. They still should maintain some standard, in my opinion. Well, that's the consequence of visiting during the busiest time of the week, I suppose. Our server, Anna, was really pleasant. She thanked us for ordering extra sashimi for additional cost (still low). She also complimented the way we were ordering. My dining companion knew what to choose from the menu, and we gave her a longer list of dishes so Anna didn't have to check on us as often. It just worked out perfectly for us. Oh! There was this guy helping with the food service. He was probably in training, or maybe just filling in, or maybe just helping out on the weekends. His mood and attitude were pretty bad, but my companion said I should be more relaxed about it ;). Anyway, I'll be back. We had a lot of fun. Someday, I'd like to order from the regular menu for comparison. Maybe the special rolls are bigger and look tidier? The Sushi Queen is a good place to check out for an affordable dining experience.

Lots of rolls to choose from but I was also trying the Hibachi steak and shrimp so I kept it simple with a smoked salmon avocado cream cheese roll. The crab rangoon has the perfect cream cheese to crab ratio. The tempura shrimp is also great. Excellent service. The restaurant is clean and spacious with comfortable seating.
