I could not have been more lucky than to have Joanne (the sitter provided to us) spend two days with my baby girl. She was capable, caring, conscientious, timely, responsive and intelligent. A wonderful care giver and I only wish I had more excuses to visit MSP so that we could visit with her again. Thank you a million times over for saving the day.

Our sitter (MaryBeth) arrived promptly and was clearly a pro. She asked all the appropriate questions before we left (things I hadn't even thought to mention!) and kept copious notes. She even came prepared with activities to keep our two year old entertained in a hotel room all evening! I felt completely comfortable leaving our two little ones with her. I was very impressed and would highly recommend the service.

It's hard to have someone look after your kids while you work, but I always felt he learned so much and was treated with love, respect and kindness--it put my mind at ease from the very first day. I love this school for my son! It was a little rough letting him go at 8 months to their daycare…read morearea and to be honest they where a little unorganized and not the best visual experience in the basement but it was worth it. He moved up to the second level with the preschoolers and my son and i just LOVE his teachers! He has had the same three teachers for about a year now and jumps into their arms every morning. They are amazing. The food they serve isn't the best, just like grade school would I guess, no organic meals or anything but you can bring your own food for them if you can afford it. They have fun side classes and my son brings home the sweetest stuff that he's worked on. My son comes home with great knowledge and the teachers communicate to me everything each day. Their facebook page is also pretty great.

When our son was an infant we started at a different daycare and it wasn't a good fit for us. We…read moretoured multiple daycares that promised a fancy curriculum and a polished facility. WTM was the only one that talked about helping to teach our son how to be a "good" person rather than only focusing on skills, e.g. playing chess by age 2. The teachers in the toddler room have been amazing, my husband calls the lead toddler teacher "the toddler whisperer" because of her natural ability to handle all toddler situations and challenges. Our son has really bonded with the teachers because they put a lot of effort into understanding his individual needs. We love the fact that toddlers spend so much time outside and engage in variety of activities, from doing different types of art work, planting a garden, to enjoying picnic lunch every Tuesday in the summer. It's always a pleasant surprise when our son offers to help or says "thank you" when it wasn't solicited. That reinforces the fact that the teachers at WTM are putting as much effort into conveying the social norms and values as they do into teaching the skills. We couldn't have asked for a better daycare than WTM.

I was very disappointed with the quality of care, the level of supervision, and the oversight of the owners. My son (who was in the toddler-early preschool age group at the time) had four different teachers during his time at Lexington Kids. Each time one of his teachers left or was fired, the parents were provided with a letter informing us that the teacher was no longer with the school--no more explanation than that. My son couldn't get to know any of the teachers because the rate of turnover, and I was uncomfortable with the lack of supervision on the playground. I ended up pulling him out and enrolling him somewhere else. I did not feel like my concerns were listened to or considered by the owners, and my contact information was lost twice. I can't recommend this childcare. Also, my first review of this childcare was reported (presumably by the owners) and removed, and after I posted this second review solely about my own experiences there, I was emailed by the owner and basically asked to take it down. This is an honest review in every way about my experience, and I will not change it.

No one knew he was coming, his name, or where he was supposed to go. When picking my son up, the teacher always gave me a laundry list of her annoyances (he asks to go potty too much, he cried a lot, he talks too much, he doesn't nap) which you would have known a lot about my son had you reviewed the paperwork I had to fill out before he started. The very last day my son went here, at drop off I saw one of the morning staff being really rough, rude, and unkind to a little girl who was playing in the sink. I messaged the director about it, apparently, they did not care and I was never contacted about it. That day, I picked up my son and there was a hand mark on his arm. Every day I went to pick him up he quite literally ran out of there. One day he came home with a bruise under his lip and his eyes were swollen and nobody said a word. My husband called and they said he had been bawling ALL DAY!!! No one even let us know. It took two weeks for the swelling on his eyes to go down and the bruising on his lip to go away. After checking the DHS licensing website and seeing what kind of violations this place has had over the years, I am happy to say we have found a much better place/program for my 2 year old to go that does not include screen time babysitting my kid.
