The chicken-n-waffles lived up to the hype and our last memories of the dish. It features a crispy waffle with strong notes of vanilla, sweet housemade buttermilk syrup, and savory chicken deep fried in beef tallow. Both the chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly. The tomato soup was also very good, with a strong tomato and basil flavor and chunky pieces of tomato in the soup. Although the chicken pot pie looked great, it was unfortunately extremely salty. I believe that Southern food is generally on the saltier side, but not to the point where the only ingredient you can taste is salt. Hopefully this was just a mistake that night and it is normally not made this way. We overall enjoyed the experience, and will give Fancy's downtown another try some day.

Florida Boy Burger decorated with Gators and old style Florida. The menu is full of creative delicious combos. I had the Miami Heat, chicken sand Delicious! My guy has the Marino which I just had to taste and loved it, with a pesto and arugula, the plain fry's were crazy good and the server was great! The food came quick and beautiful!
