I hired them because of their advertising and reputation for providing exceptional entertainment services. I COMPLETELY REGRET HIRING S4 and Peter and Pauls. We provided them with a music list of songs to play and indicated clearly that we want the DJ to play music with the same vibe. We hired them for a very special occasion which was my 50th birthday party at a hall and we paid their fee of almost $2000 because we were assured that we would get quality services. We got the worst possible services in that the DJ kept playing 70s and 80s music when we specifically outlined in the agenda they provided us thar we wanted current music like the music list we provided them with and they promised to follow. The inappropriate music the DJ kept playing throughout most of the party ruined the atmosphere of the party and our guests felt awkward as did my husband and I. Our guests did not feel like dancing to this music and asked us where we got this DJ from. They told us that the music selection was very bad and that it made them feel awkward. My husband, best friend and I approached the DJ and asked him politely to stop playing this old music and to play current music, including playing the music list we provided to liven up the party because nobody wanted to dance to the music he kept playing. The DJ listened to our request however he completely disregarded our input and he kept playing this older and inappropriate music. The entire purpose of hiring S4 and Peter and Pauls was to ensure we had a party atmosphere where everyone would dance to celebrate this milestone birthday. They completely failed to provide us with quality music and as a result our guests were not inclined to dance and a lot of guests left early because the party wasn't lively due to the horrible music selection the DJ was playing. The DJ also failed to provide any interactive activities with the guests as was promised by S4 and as indicated in the agenda we provided them with. The demeanor of the DJ in his discussion with us was indifferent and cold. This demeanor was also observed by our guests who noted that it looked like he didn't want to be there and showed absolutely no enthusiasm or even a smile while he played music. This is completely unacceptable in this industry to conduct oneself in such an indifferent manner. In addition, we noted that he drank several cans of beers and lined up the empty cans in a row on the stage. We found this very unprofessional and disrespectful to us and our guests. This is disgraceful behaviour which demonstrates a complete disregard for our party. The DJ provided by S4 didn't even know how to properly hold the microphone and speak into it. He had his mouth right on the microphone which caused a big distortion in what he was saying when he addressed the audience. My best friend had to show him that he had to pull the mic back to be heard clearly. The DJ brought 2 speakers and subwoofers, but he didn't even hook up the subwoofers and/or they didn't work. This was very apparent in that the music he played had absolutely no base. As anyone would agree having no base in the midi would most certainly affect how well the music is heard and felt by people. We went through the extra expense of hiring a videographer to have beautiful memories of this milestone celebration, however this was a waste of money because the footage reflects the horrible atmosphere created by the DJ. It's extremely sad and disappointing that I can't get a redo of this party because the damage has already been done by S4 and Peter and Pauls. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the services provided to S4 via email, S4 dismissed my concerns and informed me that they fulfilled their contractual obligations and stated the following: "I do apologize that your experience with S4 was not what you were expecting however music is subjective..." A response like this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional as any reasonable person would agree. In light of the horrible experience I had with S4 and Peter and Pauls, I personally would never recommend their services. PLEASE BE AWARE OF WHO YOU HIRE.

We found Brian Wright and Just Wright Entertainment through a referral from our wedding…read morephotographer, and we could not be happier that we went with him. From our initial meeting at a Starbucks, Brian set very high standards for himself. Did we mention that our first meeting ended up going for two hours? It was amazing how comfortable we felt around him right off the bat. He was an incredibly laid back and fun person to talk to, and we just lost track of time. For my wife and I, it seemed like we were talking to someone we had known for years, not a DJ we just met. After that meeting, we were pretty much set. We had met with one DJ before, and had talked to a couple others on the phone, and no one even came close to how comfortable we felt with him. We had made our decision before we had even gotten back to our car. Later when we informed him he had won the job, he literally had a child-like glee and excitement that he'd get to help make our reception something special. When we had our music meeting, we were once again impressed with Brian. Again, it turned into a two hour meeting, which is hard to call a meeting considering how much fun we had with him (including his falling in love with a certain comfortable chair at our apartment). He was a very detail oriented person, wanting to make sure he got everything right; people's names and pronunciations, how each of our parents should be introduced and whether they were married or not, among many other things. He even brought up a few things that we had completely neglected to think about, and certainly saved our butts from some last minute panic. He was also very thorough about the music for the evening, obviously like you would hope for a DJ! He was very particular about trying to understand our musical tastes, which for my wife and I, were very different. I'm very much a country boy at heart, she is pretty much all music except country. His depth of knowledge of music was incredible, and whenever we needed suggestions for a song to use during a part of our reception, he always managed to pick out a few samples that hit just right and made it incredibly hard to pick just one! Again, he set some incredibly high standards for himself. When we got to the big day, Brian managed to outdo the standards he had set for himself. At the end of the night I literally didn't have the words to thank him. I had gotten so many compliments during our reception about how great the music was, and how much everyone loved the game we had played right before the dinner began (which was completely Brian's suggestion!) He made the night. He was very organized and kept the event going in the right direction the entire night. He honestly knew more about the schedule for the reception than I did! I honestly don't know if I could ever run out of good things to say about Brian Wright. I sincerely hope a few of our friends who are getting married soon pick him as their DJ so I can see him again. I cannot thank him enough for how memorable of an evening he made my wedding day. I want to have more parties just so I can hire him! How much do I believe in Brian Wright? At our reception, I picked up a stack of his business cards. I carry them in my wallet so that whenever anyone, anywhere, mentions that they need a DJ, I don't even have to think about looking up his information to give them, I can just hand them his card and tell them: "Just use this DJ. Don't think twice, don't ask questions. He will be better than you can even dream of."

We have now attended other weddings since ours, and it has underscored JUST how talented Brian is! His songs transition from one to the next, seamlessly ... and he knows how to increase and then decrease the rhythms for maximum dancing and listening pleasure. We saw other DJ's klutz their ways through the evenings, and it made us realize how skilled Brian is. He is personable, very eager to please and make sure you have just what you want & need for your event, and is reasonably priced and extremely accommodating.
