First, the music as I waited to speak to an attorney, about my loved one, who is facing very…read moreserious charges, is rock music. Don't get me wrong I love rock music just as much as the next, but I had this guitar solo blasting in my ear as I waited. I turned the volume on my phone all the way down and you could still hear it from across the room. When the line was picked up, it was a man I didn't catch his name. He began to ask me questions surrounding the case(s). The moment I began to answer or put any input into the things he was saying/asking he would loudly cut me off or talk over me and on to his next subject. I am very aware of the number of years my loved one is facing and he was not sensitive to that in the least bit. The circumstances are a bit complicated, long story short we already have an attorney, my loved one received new charges and his current attorney wants the total cost up front to take on the new cases. We just can't afford it. So, we have been searching for alternatives. He explained to me that it doesn't make sense for us to have multiple lawyers asked me what we were paying them, asked how much more they want upfront and told me that the price they offered was cheap, not in a calm, educating manner, but in blunt, aggressive, insensitive manner. He then proceeded to tell me how much their services would cost. Seemed reasonable enough considering the large, complicated case but not once did he advice of how they bill their clients, what the options are, is there payment plans? Just well it's going to be 80,000 dollars. I would like to note that I understand the cost, the reasoning behind multiple lawyers, all of it. It's just the way I was bulldozed and ran me over the entire call. Thanks for your advice, dude. You rock!

Extremely disappointing experience -- $4,000 for virtually no communication, advocacy, or…read moreaccountability My husband was charged with a DUI in April of this year, and we immediately retained this firm because of the positive reviews and our initial conversation with David. Looking back, hiring these attorneys was one of the worst decisions we could have made. After paying $4,000, communication with David was practically nonexistent. We went months without hearing from him, and when we did, it was generally through text. He rarely, if ever, called us unless we initiated the call ourselves. Most importantly, we felt that he did very little to actually advocate for my husband. My husband's circumstances were unusual in that he was not even driving his vehicle when he was pulled over, yet David essentially advised us to take the plea deal without making us feel that our specific circumstances had been meaningfully explored or advocated for. At the plea hearing on August 20th, we were represented by Derek. While he initially seemed more engaged than David, he made a major mistake by telling the judge that my husband wanted work release for his jail sentence when that was not what we had requested. Even worse, when going over the paperwork, Derek failed to tell us that obtaining work release required a doctor to complete and sign a form confirming that my husband did not have tuberculosis. We had no idea this form was required. As a direct result, when my husband self-surrendered to serve his three-day sentence, he spent approximately 10 hours waiting to be processed, only to be turned away by the jail because he did not have the required medical form. We immediately reached back out to David and Derek, expecting them to take responsibility and help correct the situation. Instead, we were told that they no longer represented my husband because sentencing had already occurred. Neither attorney took ownership of the mistake, and neither would take our calls. Communication was extremely difficult, and responses to our texts were minimal. So after paying $4,000 for legal representation, my husband and I had to go to the courthouse ourselves and stand before the judge to get instructions for him to surrender again a few days later--without work release--so that he could finally complete his sentence. Because of the errors and lack of communication surrounding the jail requirements, my husband ultimately had to spend additional time dealing with this situation beyond what should have been necessary for his original three-day sentence. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it. We were also never informed that my husband needed to complete an 8-hour MVD driving course in order to have his license reinstated. Because we were unaware of this requirement, he had his interlock device installed nearly a month ago, but that time does not count toward the required 18 months until the 8-hour course is completed. These are not minor inconveniences. These were consequential details that we relied on our attorneys to know, explain, and communicate to us. The most frustrating part has been the complete lack of accountability. When you pay thousands of dollars for attorneys, you expect communication, attention to detail, advocacy, and someone who will actually guide you through the process. Instead, we were left trying to figure things out ourselves after the most important parts of the case had already happened. I would not recommend this firm to anyone based on our experience. We hired attorneys so that we wouldn't have to navigate this process alone, yet that is exactly what we ended up having to do. And after reading the glowing reviews that initially convinced us to hire them, I honestly question how representative those reviews are of the experience we had. Do your research and ask very specific questions about what communication, representation, and post-sentencing assistance are actually included before giving this firm your money.

Before my first case was reduced to a civil matter, I received a second ticket, which made me extremely worried and stressed because I genuinely did not want to go to jail. Having lived in Arizona for over a decade with a clean driving record, dealing with criminal speeding tickets for the first time was one of the most stressful experiences of my life. I spoke with four different law firms before deciding to hire R&R Law Group, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Working closely with Attorney Mackie and her legal assistant, Dulce, was truly a blessing. When I received my second ticket, I completely panicked and even cried because I was so overwhelmed. Throughout the entire process, Director of this law firm - Attorney Jushin Gill, Attorney Mackie and her legal team helped keep me calm and reassured. They worked hard to help me reach a favorable resolution on my first case before the second case even began in court. Trust me, this was one of the most nerve-racking and stressful experiences I have ever faced, and I will never forget it. I would say that the firm's fee of $2,500 per case is reasonable compared to other law firms I consulted. In my opinion, it was worth every penny. Although I never met the team in person, communication was excellent throughout the process. We spoke by phone when necessary, but most of our communication was through email with my attorney Ms Mackie and Dulce. they both were always polite, professional, and responsive whenever I had questions. As someone whose first language is not English, I especially appreciated their patience and understanding. Attorney Mackie is the best attorney I could have asked for. Before this experience, I had never hired an attorney and honestly did not know what to expect. Some people might say, "You had no prior criminal record, so your first ticket probably would have been reduced anyway." Maybe that's true. However, when it comes to receiving a second criminal speeding ticket only three months later, that's a completely different situation. Let's be honest--my positive outcome was not just luck. It was the result of the hard work, dedication, and expertise of everyone at R&R Law Group. I am incredibly grateful for everything they did for me, and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs legal representation.

I had been living in Arizona for less than a year at the time and my parents were out of the country, I had trouble getting a hold of them. Three weeks later I was rearrested for two more counts of stalking that were being investigated by Mesa PD, prior to my first arrest. I was improperly held non bondable for 7 days. Immediately Brenna got an emergency hearing in front of the presiding criminal judge, and was released on a 1k bond, when the state asked for 10k. The case in Maricopa County resolved in a class 6 undesignated. At sentencing I told her I hope to never need a lawyer again but if I did I would call her without hesitation. Well the very next day I was driving to Flagstaff and failed to yield to sirens and kept driving. I was arrested again on an unlawful flight up in Camp Verde. She came to bat again immediately at my initial appearance and was released OR. In Yavapai County we were offered a class 6 felony plea, Brenna proactively put together a mitigation package of my Autism spectrum disorder diagnosis as well as taking a strive personal safety course. Now that my divorce is finalized, I can look back and say how grateful I am for their guidance, support, and the overall outcome. They were always responsive, took the time to address my concerns, and made a difficult process go as smoothly as possible. What impressed me even more was their integrity when it came to billing. That says a lot about how they operate. Divorce is never an easy experience, but having the right people in your corner makes a tremendous difference.
