He prescribed an oral medication to take twice a day for 2 months. He said I "might" need to refill it and that we would discuss it at my follow up appointment. My appointment this past Tuesday he berated me for not continuing to take it, called me the equivalent of a liar when I told him how he prescribed it, and said he didn't understand why people can't follow simple directions. THAT WAS IT! I did speak with the new office manager about his attitude, but I feel nothing will be accomplished. I have never in my life been treated in such a manner. PLEASE!!!! The point of grievance that warrants this review is due to James and Karen, his staff members. James is unprofessional, lacks humility, and has a weak work ethic. When called and sent emails to fulfill a prescription, he returned either. When you're paying for frames and lenses for prescription sunglasses that are several hundreds of dollars and you've already purchased a pair of glasses that totaled to around $800, you expect a call back. That's not including the exam fee. This is South Georgia not New York. If you can't get a call back from someone here, then I shutter to think what one would need to spend to get the appropriate attention required from an eye doctor. James is merely a staff member. He's does fittings and processes orders for patients. James and Karen just cost Dr.Haluka thousands on one patient alone. Congrats James and Karen. As for Karen, when you advise someone that the firm requires you to wear a mask and will be providing one upon your arrival, after you've buzzed the door, because apparently that's the degree of exclusivity they aspire to in Valdosta, GA, you expect just that. Instead James answers, advises they will not be seeing you as you aren't wearing a mask, despite having been told by Karen they would be provided and you have an appointment( neither are the elderly couple behind you by the way because we're not in a densely populated area nor is this the Ebola Virus we're dealing with ). When I asked for my medical records and provided the reason why, James refused and became offensive. You're a healthcare professional, not a thug. The only redeeming factor of this experience is Jackie, another staff member with an amenable demeanor and an excellent aesthetic of professionalism. To anyone who has read this far, it is not the job of an employee to apologize for the manners and behavior of others in their practice. They should've been vetted for that upon hiring. You'll receive a thorough exam here, however processing your prescription will be a nightmare. You need both to be able to see with clarity and sharpness. I sincerely hope Jackie finds better colleagues to work with and that Dr.Haluka and Dr.Eanes employ better staff in the future. Until then, I have found another physician.

I had the same issue as another patient with waiting WEEKS for my glasses (2 years ago) only to find they had not even ordered them because they couldn't verify my insurance info. UHMMMM, they had my current phone number and could have called, but they didn't. I can not understand how a doctor can keep patients waiting an hour past their appointment time and expect to keep that patient coming back. There is a new doctor seeing patients in this office. With two doctors seeing patients, there is no excuse for long waits past scheduled appointments. I found a new optometrist within 10 mins of leaving Dr.Greenhaw's office - scheduled an appointment for the following week.
