Heard about Beak's from a friend so have it a try. Not disappointed. The food overall is excellent and the chicken in particular is the best I've had. Ordered a small family meal as it didn't really sound like that much food but I was wrong. The value for the money is fantastic. I had supper and leftovers for some time. If people had complaints about the time it took or the staff before, they must have addressed it as my order was phoned in and picked up in 30 minutes while the place was packed. The staff were very friendly and professional. If you like fried chicken, this is a must try in Regina. Be aware though..they don't have beaks on the menu but aside from that disappointment, I can't recommend them any higher. ;) read more

I've always been a fan of Beaks Chicken... but just the chicken. It's incredible! However... The mac n cheese that was previously incredible, is now over cooked and bland. It's unfortunate that this is still the best side because the fries are often stale and lacking flavour. Liking the new west Dewdney location. I had a chance to visit Beaks Chicken while driving through Regina on the way to Winnipeg. I was searching up good places to try and who doesn't like a yummy fried chicken? Because I DO! Ended up swinging by this place and ordering the fried chicken sandwich with the honey habanero sauce and boy this was delicious and HUGE! The portions here are ginormous and I literally ate it for three different meals (I do eat a bit less than the average person though). The meal also came with fries which I upgraded to poutine fries which was phenomenal. Overall really good quality food - I did pay $17 bucks but $6 of that was for the poutine. If you just get normal fries I think there is no extra charge. Overall, good spot to try! read more

Their food portions are way to small for their price. It says big tenders on their menu but its literally the same size u can buy anywhere else. I can get bigger size at popeyes for less price. And if you tell them thats its small and they will say no it's standard. Its used be very good for last few times the portions have gone down. read more

Nothing beats a locally owned restaurant that doesnone thing really well. I can't say I have eaten better chicken. Its cooked to perfection, juicy inside and crisp.on the outside. It's really one of those hidden gems in the Queen City that is almost try. read more

Holy Moly. Had been wanting to try Beaks for a long time. Were finally smart enough to try. We are foodies who have eaten at the best places across North America. This is the BEST CHICKEN there is. Had the Chicken Strips - Perfectly Crunchy on the outside, Perfectly Moist and Tender in the inside. Simply the BEST CHICKEN. Big servings too. Lots of tasty fries. Waffles also wonderful. In-house Dipping sauces very, very tasty as are the waffle toppings. We recommend Beaks completely! read more

This is an odd review because we never actually got to try the chicken. So I can' fairly say it's good or bad. They were out of, you guessed it chicken - by 1pm. It wasn't busy - I got the impression they just didn't have any chicken in at all that day. It was a cheese shop moment. They did have chicken strips. You could order anything on the menu as long as it was chicken strips. So we drove away from the parking meter that we had just paid to park at expecting to sit and eat chicken .. SO....every restaurant has bad days and we'd heard good things about this place so we thought we'd try again two days later. Tempting fate I once again plugged the meter, once again expecting to stay a while and have some chicken. And, once again, they had no chicken. This was 2pm on a July Thursday. There wasn't exactly a lineup. Insert more cheese shop routine here So.. I'd like to review Beaks chicken but I really can't. If you get there, and they have cheese, I mean, chicken. Everyone talks about the taste of the food. Well taste does not in any way make up for their service. I went in with my boyfriend for lunch at 12:05 to order. There were already several people in front of me who had not received there food. Working downtown, I get a 40 minute lunch break. I asked how long the wait was and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. While waiting people were receiving the wrong food, the kitchen staff was unorganized, and in this window only 2 people received their order. After 20 minutes of waiting I asked how long of a wait it would be and then they said we still 2 orders before ours. After 25 minutes of waiting, I asked for my money back. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was for this reason. I understand it was a lunch rush but this was ridiculous. I have eaten here before when it was slower. The food was good but by far not worth the wait. read more
