I found…read moreher through Yelp and I knew immediately after I spoke with her on the phone, that I wanted to use them for my mum's home. Having had to put my mum in memory care and having our family home with over 55 years of collectibles and 'stuff' inside, was incredibly daunting for me. I need to sell the house to pay for my mum's care, but getting to that point was overwhelming to me. Heather is patient, kind, professional, and extremely organized. She and her crew got the estate sale prepped in one day and in one weekend, most all of the contents in the home were sold. Wow! She also helped to arrange another company that she partners with to do a clear-out of what was left, including some heavy furniture. I was left with a totally cleared out home and extra money in my pocket to put towards fixing up the home to sell. What an amazing company in a difficult time of need. A true godsend and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you Heather and River City Liquidators!!!

From tractors and golf carts to blow ups for kids! The website was easy. Yelp has the website incorrect. It is tmcauction.com I registered to bid and did so. We ended up paying $370 for well over 2k worth of fencing.. plus the taxes ( 15% if you pay cash plus sales tax). When we had won our bid my son decided to bid on a couple of pallets of power tools so we picked those up too. Pick up was easy and friendly! A satisfying experience for sure!

Estate sellers work hard, so I don't write negative reviews on them for things like pricing, hold table chaos, and other things. I just remember them if it's a pattern, and then choose to not go to their sales. I do want to highlight the ones who stand out though! We have had great experiences at the sales run by Burns Estate Liquidators. Here are some thoughts: Hold Tables: Multiple and well "guarded". Sold Cards: Before entering, staff explained how sold cards worked. There was no confusion on how to mark larger items you wanted to buy. Pricing: Day 1 pricing was fine. Estate sellers are trying to make money for the family and for the business. Some companies take that to the extreme. They forget they're also trying to encourage buyers to come and buy. Burns seemed to keep that three-pronged understanding at the forefront. Price Tags: Every item had a price tag. Bulk items had very clear signs with pricing. If you've been to these sales, you know how important knowing pricing is, without having to constantly find someone. Staffing: Six people ran a very large and involved sales like a streamlined machine. We have been impressed. This is a very business-savvy company, who clearly keeps their brand protection in mind when working. Other companies lose site of that sometimes. Live Streamers: Many estate sale companies are allowing live streamers to set up camp inside a home and have live auctions during the sale. It is absolutely annoying and seems disrespectful to the family. We haven't seen this at a Burns sale yet. We've been very pleased with Burns' sales and I hope this review helps families who are looking for a company, as well as buyers at future sales.
