Calling all adhd hobby collectors!! They have so much here, I got here just after they opened and could have spent hours looking at everything. Go in with a list or you will be like me and get so much because you have all these grand ideas. Grab a tray and put your items in the little bags and write $ and how many. I ended up buying at least a dozen or 2 of most things to get the deal. I asked for helping finding some special things I was looking for. They are helpful. The things I was looking for just aren't common. I didn't think they would have it so I wasn't surprised when they didn't. Might not be the cheapest but it's all there in one place. And I like to see, touch and feel things before buying. When buying online, things might not match. Wish they had a store like this where I live. Can't wait for my next trip to NYC. read more

This place has everything you could want for beading! The selection is amazing! The staff was helpful with everything I needed including accessories and giving advice on which tools would be most useful for my project. The prices were much better than a big brand store too. read more

I feel super crotchety saying I miss the old bead district, but I do! The plethora of stores, large and small, side by side and around the corner from each other, meant almost anything could be found. This shop is a tiny slice of what the stores were like. Some walls are covered in stranded semi-precious beads. There are tables full of seed beads (none of my preferred brands, unfortunately for me), decorative beads and findings. They carry the usual strings, chain and cords. Most of whatever you need to make a thing. Their pricing seems commiserate with the few other beads stores left, if not the slightest bit less expensive (like super slight!). And finally, the one thing I dislike about these places the most, the way I'm followed. I do understand their products are small and easily misplaced, but the walking behind me as I go from table to table does make me uncomfortable. Often times I can just ignore it and marvel at the tiny shiny things, but more often, I cut the visit short. Maybe it would be different if there was an offer of assistance, or a head nod of acknowledgement, but it's really just "I watching to make sure you don't steal". Meh read more

Incredible selection but if you are buying a lot make sure you keep track of exactly what you are buying because they will over charge you. They got me by 20 bucks and that adds up. Unfortunately I'm leaving out of town so i can't get a resolution. read more

Yes! Yes! Yes! This is the old Beads World that closed after Covid. I'm so happy they reopened at another location. The address is a little tricky as 325 is a building with suites. I asked the guy at the desk and sure enough the bead place is right next door. They have a temporary sign with no number. The place is smaller, but the selection of items is here. Definitely tighter to get around because EVERYTHING is packed in. Prices are the same. They are definitely cheapest in the area. Small package of beads or sequins are 1.50. If you purchase a bunch they offer a discount. Go you won't be sorry. read more
