Munro Products is parent company for Bath Works…read more I ordered a counter refinishing kit from Bath Works website and it was delivered in a thick cardboard box. The box had zero damage to it and not even a scuff mark so the issues with the product happened either at the companies packing facility or their warehouse. When I opened the box to inventory it and prepare to begin my refinishing project I discovered that the paint pan provided was broken and very brittle like old plastic becomes or when stored it a hot environment. This is concerning, if the paint pan is old and crumbling how old is the rest of the products in the box. I don't want to start a project only to find out the paint or hardener is degraded due to old age. I contacted the company and was informed I was with-in the 30 day window so no issue accepting the product back. However I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. If this was a product in brand new shape and able to be resold that would make sense if someone has buyers remorse. But this is not that situation. This is a faulty product so therefore should not have a restocking fee as it is not going back on the shelf. I explained this to the CSR on the phone and all she kept saying is sorry there will be a restocking fee. This seems like very bad policy to sell defective products and then expect a customer to pay 25% to send it back. Where are the ethics.

Two weeks before the house goes on the market, I text him and he tells me verbatim "I'm not fixing your electric". Pièce de ré·sis·tance, he blocks my number. 1. My mom & stepfather flew out from CA and fixed the problem in about two hours (along with a bunch of other things him and his buddy Austin left halfway finished: those took several days). 2. I don't think Roger's even a licensed electrician, and if he is, he needs to go back to school. 3. And wouldn't ya know it, he charged me $150 to do less than nothing--He pulled out wires and plates, ripped off part of my door frame for some reason, and then just left them for me to deal with. I wouldn't let this guy anywhere near my house again.

They delivered on time and on budget- which to be honest is a rarity in most trades. Brian and his team built a custom full wall of cabinetry and shelving that looks beautiful. A couple months later I engaged them to build a custom inset drawer dresser to be built in to the existing shelf work i had. Brian was at my house when promised; and did exactly what was requested. The work looks great and we couldn't be happier. I. Have another project in the works for them now which I know will be great; and I'm already dreaming up how another of my sons can utilize these guys to build a custom depth bathroom vanity in his new house. I would recommend them without reservation - and the cost is very reasonable for those that think it wouldn't be.
