If you have your own caravan, there are lawned easy drive through sites and a great amenities block plus there are ensuite vans available too. However, we booked a cabin with friends and were delighted to find they are situated at the top of a steep hill (the cabin, not the friends!). The cabins are clean and spacious with two double bedrooms, a full kitchen, flat screen TV and a DVD player in case you strike a rainy day. A nice balcony with a table and chairs so you can sit and have a coffee (or a wine!) while you enjoy the wonderful views. The kids will be happy with the playground too. A small kiosk stocking the essentials (such as ice cream!) would be great but the shops are only a short drive away. Give this place a try - you'll enjoy it!

Absolutely abysmal food. Spent a small fortune on Surf and turf. Minute steak with a couple of…read moreprawns and calamari. No sauce provided with fisherman's platter or salt and pepper calamari as on menu. Fisherman's platter only had deep fried seafood, not shown on menu. It was oily and sickly to eat. Complained to management, she said i should have told her earlier, i did. Got 2 piddly icecream cups as compensation. Paid nearly $200 for dinner and drinks. Would NOT recommend. Beachport is a beautiful town which I highly recommend, just not Bompas.
