This was actually a rather nice pub, though I wouldn't consider it to be all that fancy. The service was pretty good, and they certainly made quite a decent schnitzel. In fact I found that it was a rather delightful place where I could spend some time relaxing, especially after a rather long drive earlier that day. Mind you, the beer options are rather limited, and the menu options are fairly standard for what you find in pubs, but it was still a rather nice place to have a meal. read more
Visiting Robe? Want a quick and easy meal or casual drink without all the hoopla? The Robe Hotel is for you. The main bar area is spacious and great for all weather drinking, and the outside area is behind glass and offers excellent views of the main beach in Robe - great for summer time drinking. The dining facility is cavernous. There is a main dining area and also another huge one in a separate room. The Robe Hotel is particularly child friendly with ample space for children to play and be themselves without disturbing others or getting glared at. The meals come quickly, and are really standard pub fare, so nothing special, but not badly done either. I often go for dinner with a gaggle of family members when I am visiting, knowing that I don't have to book, I will get consistently good food, I will have a relaxed time, and it won't cost the Earth to boot! People that know Robe at the height of the tourist frenzy will know that these things are all a godsend. read more
I had the pleasure of staying and eating at the Robe hotel on a recent trip, rooms are on suite upstairs with a balcony view although its older style hotel I was happy with value for money. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome, great bar and restaurant menu and reasonably priced, short wait time after ordering and large servings also, I had the beef cheeks @27 and very nice. Other meals looked appetizing that were coming out to other tables. read more
