We had planned months in advance by arranging our schedules for time off to properly care for her post surgery, etc. We understand that things happen, but it was clear our dog was neglected all day; no water, no potty break, no food, and the front desk operator was rude about rescheduling with no apologies offered. She stated we would receive a call from the Dr to reschedule, but we never did. We waited 2 hours for the pre-exam appointment and another hour the morning of check-in for surgery. We will not be back but do hope this was a rare occurrence. Our pets deserve better.

Picked him up, he appeared different, usually jumping and playful. After arriving home, I noticed that his portable crate and his butt was full of feces. Prior to leaving the office, They stated they couldn't give him a bath, but they could at minimum clean him up! This had never happened before. He was not his happy self, and drunk two small bowls of water. I called and left messages for someone to return my call. I even emailed. As of today, no one has returned my call, it has been over a year. Last straw, I called in May 2026 and was put on hold Multiple times to make an appointment and to find out why no one had contacted m. Apparently, no one cared enough to return my calls. Very disappointing! Suffolk Animal Hospital use to provide top notch service, and my Shihpoo was happy. Customer service, and my business must no longer matter. The only recourse was to find another veterinarian since the military vet is no longer an option; disheartened to say the least.
