Fabulous jobs done on both a patio door that lost it's seal and a window replacement. Both done pleasantly at a very fair price.

We had a roof that was installed by Home Depot contractors 10 years ago and has been leaking…read moreexcessively inside our house. We talked to different local roofing companies to resolve this and most of them seemed to just offer a simple patch without really knowing what was causing the leak. Dr. Roof was honest up front about the extent of the damage so we went with a full reroof on the front side of our house. You never know what is underneath until you rip it off. The damage was much more extensive then the other companies were claiming and if we did not go with Dr. Roof's suggestion, we would have still had an issue but just threw $1000's down the drain. So, their assessment was spot on with the issue. Now, the work. Their team was so professional and great to work with. I highly recommend them! They showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up afterwards. They also provided a lot of great photos of the damage to aid us with our insurance claim. We had some issues at the end of the project and they came out and resolved everything to exceed my expectations. It's hard to trust companies nowadays but our experience with Dr. Roof sets a standard for how I hope other home repair shops will meet. I recommend them to my friends.

OMG, do not hire Dr. Roof. Yes they are everywhere and you see their trucks all over- but damn if…read morethey send out the most inept people to measure, and write-up bids that make no sense. Then there's no follow up. So you go by in person and no one calls you back. The first inept guy calls you back. Then after almost a year, a new sales guy is hired and he tries to make amends by giving you a new estimate. Nope. The first impression is always the one that last forever. Talk to others, neighbors and chat with people at the post office- there's a lot of unhappy customers around who will tell you "Dr. Roof is really expensive". Me, I will not hire them. First impressions and customer's stories are plenty for me.

Wow, I can't say enough great things about Cole and his work. I had been getting quotes for…read morerepairs and it was so nice to have someone who I trusted that could take care of it all. Beach Bear Property Services were professional, timely, reasonably priced, and best of all clear communication with high quality results. Outside, my property needed gutters cleaned, dry rot remediated on the facia, pressure washing, and brush clean up. More work than the scope originally discussed was uncovered and Cole found a way to fit it in. His extra care to assure that dry rot was removed and even battling bees demonstrated his willingness to go the extra mile. Inside, my place had badly damaged, and poorly installed flooring that they replaced and took extra care even under appliances. As mold was uncovered, they remediated and took that same extra attention to detail which shows that extra care this team should be well known for. I happen to be one of those '...and one more thing' homeowners, which is hard not to be when you have someone working so hard and doing such great work. Cole was able to more than satisfy my never-ending list: huge shop clean-out, remove dead fall tree, fix fencing, and house numbers. No sales pitch...he even talked me out of jobs that were not essential. In truth I felt very blessed to cross paths with Cole and Beach Bear Property Services. I will use them again and give them my highest recommendation.

A little over a hour later here comes Tony, and with in a hour he had it up and cooking again. 5 Stars from my experience and yes I will call them again when I needed help with one of the the many services that they do.

I need new windows. I already have 3 quotes. When their door to door guy stopped by, I figured one…read moremore quote can't hurt. I asked if they make their windows, because the 3 quotes I got were direct from the manufacturer or distributor & they said yes, they manufacture them here in Hillsboro. The guy actually tried to get me to believe that my original windows had been recalled a long time ago. This is such a dumb lie. They quit making this 1950s style of aluminum windows decades ago, but not recalled. I should mention here, that I am in the design & build business, so I know more about this stuff than most sales people will ever know. I told them I already have all the window dimensions, I just need to hand those off & they can email me a quote. They insisted on sending someone to look at the existing windows & how they are installed. They said it would take 60-90 minutes, I said I was too busy for that & would just show them a couple of the existing windows & hand them the dimensions, but could not waste that much time with the sales pitch. The next day, the sales person showed up, but would not just take the dimensions & quantities, she wanted to give me the full sales pitch. I really didn't want anyone coming in the house, but it was super cold & she seemed nice & not sketchy. I let her know I already had 3 other quotes, so I just need the pricing. I know all about vinyl windows. It turns out they DON'T make windows, so I immediately knew they could not beat my other 3 quotes, because they are buying & marking up the windows & then charging a ton for install. The 1st lie about them making their own windows is specifically why I agreed to let them give me a quote. When the quote came back at 4 times the average of my other 3 quotes, I said that I would have to pass for obvious reasons. And then just like a used car salesman, she called her manager to ask about discounts, if any other houses in the area are having installs done, so they could consolidate shipping/delivery costs, etc. They trimmed a little off, but it was still more than 3 times what I would pay the other window company, so she calls him back, they make up some BS about their marketing department just said that if they can take photos of the install & put a sign out front, it would shave a little more off. Keep in mind, this is a saturday & marketing is not working on a weekend. Now their price was still more than double my highest quote. At this point, I said that there is no way I am going to pay more for run of the mill vinyl windows than my highest existing bid, so please go so I can get on with my day. She was nice, she understood, I'm just sad that she has this crappy job that she probably doesn't enjoy. She left. Now DaBella calls me 2-3 times a day. How does a contractor grow so large with such sleazy & predatory business practices? It appears to be because they mostly target older folks who don't know anything about windows, roofs, etc & they lie to them about the hazards of their current (windows, roof, siding) & bully them into getting the work done. Do yourself a favor & read ALL of the reviews here, you will see a common thread. Find yourself a small, local, well reviewed contractor & avoid this high pressure behemoth that cares about money over clients. Don't do it.

We have a GAF warranty claim on a failing nine-year-old roof - a claim that has been approved by…read moreGAF for time and materials. Despite being the, quote, "largest GAF contractor in the country", DaBella indicated that they would not handle any warranty claims for GAF. When I contacted DaBella, I notified them this was for a warranty claim; they didn't indicate that this would be a problem when scheduling someone to come out. I also specifically asked for a labor and materials breakdown in cost so I could do a direct comparison with the offer GAF has made us - so I could go back to GAF and negotiate the details on the offer. Despite having asked for this up-front, all I got was a hand-written single sheet of paper with a single price quote, no breakdown. Absolutely worthless waste of my time. If this is how they do business, I'd steer clear of them. Edit: The reply DeBella left was also absolutely worthless. I called the number provided. Neither of those options connected me with an actual person to discuss the issues. What a terribly disingenuous company.
