I took a chance and brought her in, in the back of my pick-up truck. I brought her in on a rope as she was panting and trying to run away. Sue took the rope and got a treat and somehow kept her fingers, and Dingo was all in her hands. When I picked her up, she had a striped bandanna on, smelt like strawberries and she no longer had long wild claws, but short tamed paws, and she wasn't even barking! Oh and she was shiny, I knew she was black but I'd only seen her with a brown tint...which now I know was dirt. I never knew she had a shiny coat under that mess. Katie had given her a stress reliever, massage bath and she relaxed and I guess enjoyed her day at the spa..so much for being a Dingo... I highly recommend Pet Services for your pets grooming needs - the price was great and the service was excellent. Thank you Sue and Katie! Once I can wrangle Dingo up again, we will be back for you to do your magic.

I would not recommend this place at all. They have no customer service skills. They come off very…read moreabrupt and try to turn it around and say your the one who is rude. We have gone their before with 2 dogs and both times there was a run around about not having one of our dog's vet information (when clearly they had it because they would have not performed any past services if they had not) and very quick to tell us than we need to cancel the upcoming appt. without wanting giving us a chance to call back with the update information required. When I called back to let to ask them what their email address was so that I could resend it (again) and asked them to have their paperwork updated so we wouldn't continue the same issues, they got very defensive saying that it was me who was rude. The conversation did escalate and I am so happy that we are now going to another place. As much as we would like to support small businesses, the downside is this place feels like they can treat people anyway they like. My mother says the older lady is nice, but the young one who I had the displeasure of speaking too is very snotty! It's a shame the dog in question has been there at least twice within one year and they give us a hard time each time because they for whatever reason are not up to date with how they file their records. Bottomline there are too many groomers out there and in MY past experience I have always had a great experience with groomers, pet lovers are usually so nice....oh well this is on them for me writing this review. I have an appt. tomorrow @ 7am for another groomer. made the call, they asked if they were up to date on shots...yes they are...please bring with you when you bring the dogs in. Boom! Done......

We've been…read moreto another groomer but the busy environment and kenneling was too much for her (even though her groomer there was awesome!). Both Melissa and Nick have done phenomenal jobs on her and I am most impressed by how the management communicates! We had to reschedule her appt based on the holidays and they did everything they could to accommodate. They made it happen! I am VERY particular about the quality of care for every member of my family and do not compromise. Furryland Land exceeds all of my expectations.

Anxious dog or difficult traveling to salon - this is your answer. Our 5 year old, 70lb Golden…read moreRetriever Sonny, grew increasingly anxious for trips to the groomer to the point he laid down in the middle of a busy parking lot and refused to move. I learned about Furry Land on a fb neighborhood group. We have used their services for over a year now and we couldn't be happier. Appointments are easy to make online and communication via text messages are convenient. The mobile salon van arrives on time and the groomers are all so nice, professional and caring. This time Grace traveled to us in the frigid Temps (when all the schools are closed type of cold) and greeted us with a smile. She took time to talk to me about Sonny and the plan for the grooming service. She listened and gave Sonny pets and attention before taking him to the van. With Sonny right out front in the van I had less anxiety too and no time traveling to drop him off or pick him up as he was right there. I went about my weekend chores while Sonny got washed and trimmed. After about 1 hour and 20 minutes Sonny and Grace returned and He was still anxious and excited but no car ride to extend his anxiety, I was able to comfort him immediately. While we talking about how the service went and finishing up, Sonny had a little bleeding from his front nail and Grace noticed it and went into action. She examined his paw then ran out to bring in the quick clot and apply. The bleeding stopped right away. Grace reassured us that the bleeding was likely increased due to his anxiety and pressure being up, it would heal and it did. Sonny looked like himself again! No more Grinch Paws and his fur was shiny and soft. Our fluff ball was back. The full service costs about $25-30 more than our previous groomer but it is well worth it for us. Honestly without this option I don't know what we will do so I hope they continue this awesome service for all the pets like our Sonny. Besides all the convenience, I have to say how thankful we are for the great staff! These people are truly all incredible with such sweet personalities that make us feel very comfortable- big big Thank you Grace and team.

We have been taking our dogs to Cedar Dale for about 15 years. We always had a great experience…read moreand felt our babies were in good hands. It has recently changed hands and being managed by a new owner. It definitely has a different vibe which I guess I'm just not yet used to. The former owners, Peter and Bruce, were really in tune with our neurosis with leaving our dogs for extended periods. If we had concerns, they were promptly addressed and our minds were quickly put at ease. They had a long time, loyal staff that were really amazing and always made us feel totally comfortable. I think it's just going to take time for me to adjust to the new set up. The new owner seems wonderful and has an active Facebook page which provides pictures of what the dogs are doing on a regular basis. They have special dinners for the dogs on major holidays and make these homemade wonderful frozen treats that our dog goes nuts over. They have installed turf in all the play areas so the dogs come home with muddy paws, which I'm sure was very costly to have installed. Very nice upgrade. Our dog really enjoys her stay here. She loves the socialization and I appreciate that they mix it up where she gets to play with the big dogs and the little dogs. (She's only 40 lbs and usually prefers puppies and and little dogs). I hope Cedar Dale continues in the tradition of providing excellent service to their clients. It's clear that they love the animals and are engendering a warm, nurturing environment. I would encourage the staff to continue to work on communication skills. Communicating with a customer who is thousands of miles away while their pet is being boarded can be a challenge. Take the time to exude confidence that you've got everything under control and maybe follow up with a quick e-mail, especially if it's a long term boarder who is far away. I appreciate the Facebook page, it's a great way to convey to long term boarders that their pups are safe and happy!

I just spoke on the phone to Cedar Dale Pet Resort regarding my concerns over being over charged…read morefor my dogs boarding and grooming. They are making false claims. The woman on the phone said they have a note in their system that they told me the grooming prices vary and gave me cost estimates. This is untrue. They never spoke to me. If they had given me those prices ($600 for grooming) I would not have approved those charges. In fact they never spoke to me on the phone. All communication was done in writing via email. I have also attached the invoice I was given as an estimate and the grooming is listed as $0 - she said I should have known it wasn't free. And went on to try and shame me saying they don't work for free. That $200/ dog is normal for big dogs. Every other time we have boarded our dogs at other facilities they have either included a bath/groom for free or charged a small free, under $60 a dog. The only reason we did not use our normal boarding facility was they were closed for renovations the week we were going to be gone. Cedar Dale Pet Resort apparently feels that charging 50% more than the original written quote without getting authorization is acceptable. Please do not ever use Cedar Dale Pet Resort, they do not honor their price estimates and do not ask permission before performing services that can exceed $500-600.
