Today I discovered they even stock that super cool label Wild Fox here. Lush. One day when I have heaps of money I'm gonna buy heaps of that and wear it to Coachella. I found the staff friendly and they put a clothing item I was wanting to try on in the changing room for me while I continued to browse. It's by no means a cheap store but all of the clothes are really well made and they're really different to items you'd find in chain stores. The store itself has a whole warehouse vibe to it and is really spacious with exposed brick walls and concrete floors. I love the fact that it's got a kids section, they've got some really cool printed tees and dresses that I kind of want for myself! Really must try to keep myself out of this place.

Regardless of whether you're a size 6FF or a size 20K, Avokado will have something for you. And, unlike other stores, Avokado only stocks products that both look and MAKE YOU FEEL FABULOUS. I now adore going lingerie shopping thanks to Avokado - their products make you feel like a supermodel, they're comfy and fun and vibrant - exactly what all 21 year olds want with their lingerie. Freya is my favourite brand that Avokado stock. They do super cute and sexy sets, and thanks to Freya I recently purchased the first bustier I've ever found that fit properly. No need to wait for end of season sales to be able to spend up large! My last trip to Dressmart I was looking for work clothes and ended up buying three dresses, a blouse, and a singlet top for $60 - a feat that just wouldn't happen anywhere else. However, my real find of the trip was the chunky wedge sandals I found in Glassons. Down from $59.99, I ended up purchasing them for $10, and when I took them to the counter found out accessories were buy one get one free, so ended up walking away with a great black flower hairclip for free as well! Talk about a happy shopper! Though predominantly a clothing outlet, Dressmart also houses eateries, sports shops, shoe shops, health and beauty stores and book stores. The only thing that is missing is a jewellery store, but when you're saving so much money on everything else I guess paying full price for jewellery isn't so bad! Located near Auckland transport stations and with lots of customer parking and a free shuttle service operating Monday-Friday between the mall and Auckland CBD, despite being in Onehunga Dressmart is easily accessible.

Also Dress smart Onehunga is home to the only outlet shop for Peter Alexander in New Zealand! Dress Mart really is the place to visit if you want to save money on branded items. It gets really busy on weekends though, so either be prepared, or come early. Sometimes I find myself getting a bit disoriented inside trying to find a particular shop, but that might just be me!

The clothes at Tigerlily aren't really my thing but they do some pretty good swimwear. It's all sort of resort wear, a lot of boho-esque stuff - a lot of patterns, very 'LA' or Sydney-esque clothing. As an American, Kmarts are almost all shuttered in the US. I've heard that Kmart in New Zealand and Australia are considered nice, in the way that Americans see Target as "nice." I'd say this target is maybe 1/2 or 1/3 of the size of a US Kmart. The main section seems to be for clothing, and then home decor items. I noticed there were quite a bit of items for social media, like ring lights and phone stands, and colourful strip lights. I noticed most of the items were house branded / generic items. I'm not familiar with the quality of these items but they were on pretty much everything. There isn't much of a snack section or toys or practical items for the home that I saw. They have perfected the sack dress with one of the styles they produce very season. But somehow they make it look like a slimming sack dress. Even though they produce similar dresses each season they don't look exactly the same because they use different fabrics, patterns and textures. The shop in Vulcan Lane is in the perfect location for popping out for a quick shopping trip in your lunch break. Especially on those days where you think, why did I walk out wearing this?
