Today I discovered they even stock that super cool label Wild Fox here. Lush. One day when I have heaps of money I'm gonna buy heaps of that and wear it to Coachella. I found the staff friendly and they put a clothing item I was wanting to try on in the changing room for me while I continued to browse. I did spot an amazing cat sweater for sale too (brand was Mr Gugu and Miss Go). Basically if you are after some awesome clothing , chances are you'll find something at Laundromat.

They just have everything I've been looking for. Grey sweater: check. Doc Martens: check. Nice colours of Vans: check. They stock labels like Federation and Wildfox that I haven't seen in many other stores around the city, so you know you're almost guaranteed to be the only person wearing anything you buy in here. It's by no means a cheap store but all of the clothes are really well made and they're really different to items you'd find in chain stores. The store itself has a whole warehouse vibe to it and is really spacious with exposed brick walls and concrete floors. I love the fact that it's got a kids section, they've got some really cool printed tees and dresses that I kind of want for myself! Really must try to keep myself out of this place.

Located on Nuffield Street in Newmarket, Avokado has been gaining a reputation as the number one store for women with bigger boobs. Instead of just catering to older women, as most stores lingerie stores (like Bendon) have tended to, Avokado stocks young, funky, sexy and supportive lingerie for busty women. Regardless of whether you're a size 6FF or a size 20K, Avokado will have something for you. And, unlike other stores, Avokado only stocks products that both look and MAKE YOU FEEL FABULOUS. I now adore going lingerie shopping thanks to Avokado - their products make you feel like a supermodel, they're comfy and fun and vibrant - exactly what all 21 year olds want with their lingerie. Freya is my favourite brand that Avokado stock. They do super cute and sexy sets, and thanks to Freya I recently purchased the first bustier I've ever found that fit properly. Dusty pink with little black flowers and lace, it's incredibly pretty and the top along with matching bottoms only set me back $160 - not bad considering you'd pay at least that in most lingerie stores, and it wouldn't fit half as well. Tip: Avokado also stock swimwear, so finally you can look and feel great at the beach too without having to worry about falling out of those silly drawstring-type bikini tops. If you are busty and sick of worrying about it, get your ass to Avokado! NOW!

It is worth every cent. There's actually room to breathe. And what this also means is that there's loads more clothes. Stuff that I never see in the city and lots more sizes. It also has a bit more of a corporate vibe to it with more serious kinds of clothes. Or perhaps it's just the décor that makes it feel this way. They've decked it out with modern industrial racks and shelves that make it look office-chic. They have HUGE mirrors everywhere throughout the store. Not so great if you're having a bad hair day. But awesome if all the changing rooms are full or you're running late and don't have time to try stuff on.

The store clerk was happy to help me get store credit for my items as she didn't have my size everything was completed and i walked out happily until i got into the car and notice she had actually refunded one of the items ($80) and then taken the other (defect) item i refunded ($20) and subtracted it from the previous one ($80-$20=$60) and so i left paying twice for an item i returned to them that was a defect..... i went back had to give me another voucher for $40 after a long discussion.. even more recently i went to purchase items using my birthday awards, spend and save, and the store credit i got previously which i told the sales assistant (presented my witchery card, presented my store credit vouchers (one $60 and one $40) and also told her) but she didn't use the birthday awards (which was expiring the next day)... and also only used $40 voucher then threw the $60 in the bin......... i had to run back to the store and ask the staff there for which they then had to look through the bin until they found it and apologized... Ok.. that's fine, i'll use the birthday awards online to purchase shoes during their sale.. the shoes ran a size too big (i also purchased another pair in the same size and they fit perfectly so just this one was bigger than usual) so i thought i could go exchange the size. I rang up botany and their whole system was down so i rang them the next day and they said Nuffield had a pair so i went to the store but apparently its not on their system, they said Queen St had a pair... not on their system either.... but in the end the lady was nice enough to courier a pair from south island to auckland so now im waiting for the phone call to go pick it up. Generally i love their clothes and accessories and Nuffield is the biggest in Auckland with the largest range, but i feel their service has gotten a lot worse that they don't really care for people using store credits/awards/do exchanges or perhaps i just had really really REALLY bad luck with them. sorry for the rant...

From coming up with the beautiful patterns, to printing them onto fabric and assembling the garment, this beautiful, feminine clothing line is all New Zealand made. This shop isn't very big, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in absolute deliciousness. It's an absolute haven of fashion and the store layout reflects that. I always thinks it's a shame that Gucci Queen Street doesn't have the beautiful window space that Louis Vuitton does. It really just has a big poster on one side and then a tiny little window display on the other side of the doors. So you'll just have to go inside before you can drool all over their high-quality, higher-price luxuries. After all, if you're going to buy an investment piece, you might as well do it in a luxury environment rather than horrible duty free shop at an airport. Don't let jetlag interfere with your handbag selection skills!
