When date night comes around, but the weather is too cold I look towards our local area for good…read morefood ! We decided to try this lovely place, i don't think this place has been here long but it seems really busy in terms of takeout. I guess everyone loves a good kebab !! But let's talk about the food, which is what we're here for !! Two things we got, the chicken shish (large) and a little share platter (chicken and beef)- I'm horrible with name so you're going to have to go by my description and photo ! Lols So firstly the chicken shish, the large platter comes with the chicken, rice, hummus, yoghurt with an olive on top. Flavor I will have to say 3/5 it was nice but I felt that it was lacking that kick or punch. Whilst I don't know how real Turkish food taste... I feel like they like their flavors so I feel like the chicken should have a bit more kick in them. The rice was light and fluffy!! The hummus was really nice to have with the chicken and the little green thing on the side (again I AM SORRY !! I am horrible with names!!). Next the platter! It comes with beef and chicken shavings (well that's what I call them cause they gotta shave the meat whilst it goes around and around and around ) The platter comes with Turkish bread, olives, humus and yoghurt like dip and salad. I may have forgotten a few things but that's what's the picture is for !! Lols, overall the platter was like an average platter you would get (i.e. Cheese platter) Overall the place isn't too bad for a kebab stop or for a little Shish or even dessert ! Even though I haven't tried it lols. But with the total bill being nearly 50$ it's a little disappointing! But hey that's my say, I still think y'all should give it a try !! Peace !!

Four of came in for a dinner on a Thursday night…read more I ordered the Moroccan Lamb, a slow roasted lamb shank, carrot, chickpeas, sultanas, couscous, yoghurt, mint gremolata. My spouse ordered the Citron Chicken Tagine, a Ras el hanout, preserved lemon, carrot, chickpeas, apricot, couscous, yoghurt, almonds. Both meals were very yummy. The servers were attentive and polite but the ambience was still to "mall" like for me,even though we were in a mall.

I ordered the calamari because I felt that's a pretty safe item and it can be compared across restaurants. It arrived and I was slightly surprised as it was spiced and lightly sauced, not tempura-ed or breaded or fried. Once I got over that, the taste was good; granted that this was most likely a sharable dish, I'd recommend getting something else to pair with it because eating the entire thing by yourself is not the way to go. Especially when everyone else is enjoying baby churros with shot glasses of melted chocolate. Also, make sure to make your order well known. A lady at our table ordered the same drink three times and hadn't received it until we were about to go. The manager came over and served her personally, explaining that they had some new staff and apologized for the confusion. By this point, she was already over not receiving the drink, but once she sipped it, she was wishing she had received it a lot earlier.
