Skip the banter and go to HIGHLIGHTS below for the review of this beach…read more My banter: What's not to love? While still enjoying our PR vacation, I'm writing this review reflecting on the beach. A year ago I was state side, doing camping trips, old people out door concerts and things I didn't love to do. I was going with the flow, enjoying company and the things he loved doing. Women tend to do that. Today I'm on this beautiful beach, with family and a wonderful human who came into my life because I trusted my gut, have self respect and worth. In trusting the signs and my gut feeling, I left a 2 year relationship thinking I had wasted time on another "cheater". Talking to other women while you're in a relationship is a HUGE no in my book. Especially when they tell you it's nothing to be worried or upset about because they are just friends; but as soon as you leave they get with the person who is younger than you, who they said they weren't attracted to and wasn't their type. Marriage is always the goal for me in any relationship. I'm a lover girl. His stance was our 15 year age gap was a factor. Talk about never wanting to date an old man again! Ladies, old men lie too. So do not settle or think cause they're old that they are more mature or better. They are actually worse! (In my experience.) In fact, I truly believed I wasted time up until this trip. However, I didn't waste time. The Universe was preparing my life and time aligned perfectly. I met the most beautiful human who takes loyalty, kindness, and faithfulness seriously. He is so against "friends" and any woman who makes me feel uncomfortable. Lesson: Gods plan is better than you think. Continue to love without hurt so the one who comes can honor the beauty that is you. I've been traveling this year since I met my man and he stops at nothing to give me the best life. And it's places I want to go and things I want to do. He's younger so we do fun things and life isn't repetitive. So as I look at this beach, I am sitting here in awe. Grateful for him, his generosity and for letting me pick all the places I want to visit. A good man is a man who protects your peace and your feelings. Thankful for unanswered prayers. HIGHLIGHTS: This is the beach you want to spend time on. The sand is perfection. It's less crowded and just a vibe! This beach has a stand for Jet Skis. Our blended family wanted to Jet Ski and this place has them for persons 18 and older. It's located in the same area as Marriott Isla Verde resort, where they have their lounge chairs for guests. The beach is public so anyone can come, however since this Marriott is near the end of the street, it is less crowded than our beach area. And nothing to the left, just a few families that are locals. We've come everyday because the Jet Skis are the fave for the fam. Definitely recommend this beach if you're staying at these resorts. They are not the most luxurious hotels but not bad by any means. If you're a local or using an AirBNB this may not be the best option as there are no showers, etc in the area. Definitely for hotel guest mainly, as non public as you can get.

Believe it or not, this beach is nice but not the nicest in PR. Location for this beach is…read morealongside lots of resorts. But after hanging out closer to the airport side, we got spoiled with the smooth sand and no rocks. Condado Beach is full of rocks so running or working out is a challenge if you're into beach workouts. The beach is public however the resorts do a decent job of curtailing the public patrons. We stayed at Stellaris for the last leg of our trip and the resort gave out wrist bands to ensure employees knew were guest. It was easy to get lounge chairs as they would see us walking from the hotel and the wrist band was a quick give away. If you're a resort guest you'll get towels. Other people who were on lounge chairs with no towels had either paid for the chairs and/or were staying at the cheaper hotels behind the resort. In summation, although the location is live and busy, the beach is not the best on the island but it does the job. Would likely not stay in the area again as this beach wasn't the most beautiful on the trip. When you come to an island, the beach is the most important part and should be the most beautiful place you are.

We passed several inviting open air restaurants as we neared the beach and my only regret is not having time to stop for a bite! We parked on a grassy area across from the beach, which was convenient and I was thankful it was not full on this pretty Saturday afternoon. We crossed the busy street carefully with our coolers and trekked alongside the pavement until we saw people. This is definitely a family beach. Loud music and conversations emanated from beach blankets all over the sand. There were available spots, but not many. My favorite part of this beach was the small rock outcropping which held back the larger waves and made a shallow swimming area much like a calm swimming pool. Small groups were able to stand and enjoy the water without the need to struggle against the current. The beach was natural, so palm fronds and seaweed were scattered about, but it was also clean. Trash cans were lined up at regular intervals so there was no litter. Due to the proximity to the airport, planes took off frequently nearby. It was loud, but also cool to see the planes fly so close overhead. It was fun to spend an afternoon the same way that so many local residents spent their weekend days. Next time I'm stopping for food!
