Wow. I took a flyer using Yelp internationally (Americans can be... let's just say we can easily be…read moretaken offsides by food and service levels that are absolutely acceptable everywhere else in the world;). This place is tucked away at the end of a road overlooking a beautiful beach about 8-10 minutes east of the the St. Regis resort. I'm so glad I didn't simply fall into the Siren-like enchantment of the St. Regis, and chose to venture out for dinner. The sunset was stunning, but the food... The food was simply amazing. Knowing I would review the restaurant, I ordered a 5 course prix fixe selection at 92€. First came homemade bread, followed by a delicious gazpacho (compliments of the chef). The bread was served with an olive tapenade that was fantastic. Following this was the start of 5 courses with a thinly sliced (cooked) Tuna appetizer served with a purée on top. Great, although a bit on the salty side. Bot suThis was followed by an amazing seared scallops with artichoke purée and topped with Iberian crispy bacon bits. Yum. What came next was a bit left field, but super tasty - shrimp red curry Thai noodles. What?!?!?? Super yum. The main dish of seared pork was good, but here's a great example of "American" expectations. This pork is so dark and so rich I actually had to ask if it was beef! I know, I know. How uncultured, but I'm telling you, it was as dark as beef, as rich as beef, and nearly impossible to decipher. For a split second I thought they actually brought me someone else's plate. Super rich. Fantastic. And then came dessert. I was SO full, and so glad I tried this local fixture.

We were a family of 12 walking around Palma looking for a place to eat, and unfortunately this…read moreturned into one of the worst dining experiences we've had. When we first arrived, we asked for a table for 12, and were told it wasn't possible--even though the restaurant was half empty. We even offered to split into two tables of 6, but were still turned away. We tried again by having our Spanish speaker ask separately, and a different waiter agreed to seat the group. As soon as we all walked in and sat down, the same staff member who had denied us became visibly upset and, in a very sassy tone, said "those are the same 12." She then told us we had to sit in the back if we wanted to stay together, so we moved. Moments later, she changed her mind again, insisting that because we had a baby, part of the group would still need to sit separately. At that point, it was clear they simply didn't want our service, no matter how flexible we tried to be. After being shuffled around and treated so rudely, we decided to leave. Extremely disappointing and, frankly, felt discriminatory. Families and larger groups should be aware before coming here.

Parking is available for the restaurant goers but limited space available, free of charge. My home is situated in the US, all the foods I've been having while in Mallorca have been fresh, flavorful and simply amazing. The foods in the US do not taste as fresh, just sayin. Anyhow, you start your meal with (Pa amb oli) toasted bread using fresh tomatoes, fresh garlic, Ailo, olive oil, and a pinch of salt was a great way to start the meal. The Paella without sea shells was phenomenal as was the fresh beef on the hot stone. The Paella is served as a two portion meal, no single serving, so I ended taking half of my order to go...that was the only negative, you need to order a larger serving opposed to a single order. The Beef was very flavorful and tender...simply amazing. You grill the beef yourself at the table using a hot stone provided, you gauge the temperature of the meat yourself. I like mine slightly pink, medium well. The experience was nice. If you are in the area and desire Mallorcan dishes, this restaurant will satisfy every one of those desires. The Ambience and decor was very warm, the service was very attentive and pleasant. Very pleased with our sever Mauri. Boun Appetito !

We came out for late night food and some cocktails. After hearing so many great things about…read moreNicolás, we decided to check it out. The number one disappointment of course was that in all of Mallorca, the kitchen closes at 11pm - merrrrp. That's totally our bad and our fault. They don't have a lot of food options here it's more snacks, and cheeses and things like that. We decided to stay for some snacks and a cocktail and really loved the vibes of this place - especially the inside area. I can totally see this spot as a cool spot to hang out after dinner for a drink, come on a little date with your partner or catch up with friends while on vacation. For me, if I'm hungry I can't be as lively as I'd want so of course I couldn't fully get the best out of here but it was still a very nice experience. The cocktails were good but nothing I'd go home raving about. We all ordered a cocktail and all of ours were pretty on the standard side. Our friend had a mocktail and even though it was so pretty to look at, it seems it was on the way sweeter (undrinkable) side. Other than that, we really enjoyed the iberico board with different kinds of cheeses - some really delicious, aged and funky ones and their complimentary popcorn. We had a really nice night - just next time, gotta remember to eat! Hehe!
