Beach Buzz nailed it. First off--this place was clean. Like "you could eat off the floor but you shouldn't because the food is too good to waste" clean. The bar was full (which is always a good sign), yet somehow it stayed chill and quiet enough that we could actually talk, eat, and enjoy dinner without yelling like we're in a night club! Now let's get to the real war heroes that defeated my hunger tonight: the Wings...The Cajun BBQ wings and mango habanero wings were perfectly cooked--crispy where they should be, juicy where it counts, and packed with flavor. These weren't just wings... they were amazing! And then there was the over-easy burger. Absolute knockout like Mike Tyson in his prime. Cooked just right, messy in the best way (kinda like a toxic ex), and the kind of burger that makes you pause mid-bite to nod in approval like, "Yeahhhhh." Great food, great atmosphere, clean place, and somehow lively without being loud. Beach Buzz is doing it right. Service service service. We went in to eat and we're seated relatively quick. There were two waitresses working or section. No one ever offered us a drink or come to take our order. I waved at both waitresses and they would not acknowledge me. I was looking forward to eating here because I have friends that said it was good. The food may be good, but the service was horrible.. Left and went to Hope Stacy's on a rare team and had a great meal and listen to some live music. I guess things happen for a reason. read more

I was bummed I got back to work and open the pizza box and it was all dried, burnt, tasteless and greasy,as well as the over carbonated Coke. We decided on pizza and wings tonight for a carry out dinner for 8 people. We tried to call several times but no one answered the phone so we took a chance and drove to the restaurant. My wife and I sat at the bar and Hannah waited on us. We had a drink and put in our to go order which consisted of: Boneless Honey BBQ wings, Bone in Habanero Mango wings, Chicken Alfredo Pizza, Surfer Pizza, Meat Lovers Pizza and a Caesar Salad. I would have given them a 5 Star rating but instead of the Surfer Pizza, they gave us a Supreme Pizza. I checked our receipt and Hannah put the order in correct but the kitchen made a mistake. We were renting a condo and felt like grabbing a pizza for dinner. Beach Buzz was recommended by a local and rightly so! The pizza was excellent. I can't speak on the ambiance as we took it to go. We ordeeed a 20" pie and it was HUGE. 3 of us ate dinner and lunch the next day. We had our 1/2 meat lovers and 1/2 cheese for the picky teenager. It was a mighty fine pie at a reasonable price. Beach Buzz is a newer restaurant that is a nice upgrade from the previous restaurant in this building. The prices are reasonable with a very large menu (compared to the size of the kitchen they have), so sometimes the wait for food is a little longer (normally ~15 minutes for entree), even if there are less than 10 tables seated. If you (or anyone ahead of you) has ordered the 24" pizza, there will be a long wait, since there is only one oven in the back to cook the pizzas in. I have not been disappointed with any of the food we have ordered here, from the chicken wings to the pizza. They have a lot of unique pizzas; several that I have tried have been a good change to "normal" pizzas (like their Surfer with Pineapple and Mandarin Oranges). Several of the appetizers are good as well. I recommend the Wisconsin Cheese Curds, Wings, or Fried Ravioli. The interior is nice, with three separate areas -- restaurant seating, bar seating (booth and bar top), and an outside patio which is nice when the weather is good. It is not overly loud inside, but I have also not seen the restaurant very crowded -- I have always been able to find a seat where I wanted without a wait, but many days when I drive by, the parking lot is quite full. They started with a very minimal liquor offering, but over the past few months have increased it into a full offering. Beach Buzz has live music on the patio every Friday and Saturday (according to their website, but I have only been there one time for the music). The staff has been friendly every time that I have eaten here and the management/owner are all friendly as well. Though it is a few miles away from the beach, it is worth stopping in for a bite to eat for lunch or dinner on the way to or from the beach. read more

All my pizza posts are based on on restaurant in Pensacola. Do largely that hands down there the best. That would be Sky Pizza. Beach Buzz, their pizza is close. It's a good pizza. The crustification has great texture and mouthfeel. They have a large array of toppings, and yes, pineapple too. Staff are great, and I also hear they make great burgers too. I can see where Beach Buzz would just be a great place to hang, drink a few beers, and have a great pizza. read more

We've been here twice in the past week. It's so good. We had hamburgers the first time, today we had wings and my daughter had a spaghetti and meatballs grilled cheese sandwich. It was so very good! Their fries are so crispy and perfectly seasoned. It's a half a mile from where my daughter is staying. If I lived here it would be my favorite spot. They're advertising live music soon. This place was the worst. It took forever to get our initial drinks. Once we ordered, two cheeseburgers a small pizza and a pulled pork sandwich, we got the burgers in about 15 minutes. It took another 10 for the pizza to show up. After repeatedly asking where the other part of the meal was they brought out this pulled pork sandwich. It had less than 2oz of pulled pork on it. The sandwich came out 58 minutes after ordering. After repeated requests, they brought it out without an apology or anything. I had to get the manager to come over to the table to discuss the issues and remove the sandwich from our bill. It took the manager another 15 minutes to get the bill back to us with the sandwich removed and no other discounts. I would rather eat at the McDonalds down the road, and I HATE McDonald's. read more

OK.....picked up another takeout order after a nice day at the beach. My wife got the Beach Buzz Grilled Cheese, and I got the Philly Cheese Steak (again). I can only say that the first one I picked up several months ago was fantastic.....but this one was SUPER Fantastic!!! WOW!! Perfectly portioned, perfectly cooked, all on an amazing piece of bread. The overstuffed grilled cheese was excellent as well. If you need to pick up some great food, definitely give these folks a shot. We have not been disappointed in this Westside addition to the food scene. read more

Pizza & calzones are great, Alfredo was delicious. Only reason I gave 4 stars was the wait on the food after ordering.. it must be a small kitchen that gets backed up but they do a great job! I drove to BEACH BUZZ for a drink and takeout since it's new and close to home. I ordered takeout for dinner, hoping to support a new local spot. When I got home and opened the boxes, I was sadly disappointed, especially because it's my wife's birthday. Both the main dishes and sides were visibly burnt. The calzone had a charred, bitter taste that overwhelmed any other flavors, basically inedible. The worst part was the burned aroma that lingered--it was clear this wasn't just "crispy" food; it was outright neglected. Given that they're a new restaurant, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but this level of quality is hard to overlook, especially because my wife was visibly disappointed. I hope BEACH BUZZ can iron out these issues, but after this experience, I'm hesitant to order from them again. For now, I can't recommend them, especially for takeout. My wife recommends and supports the best local restaurants to her customers and sadly, "negative word of mouth" travels fast. read more

We are locals who live a few miles away on Innerarity and wanted to give this place time to work out all the kinks before we tried it having been in the restaurant business for 25 years ourselves. Start hearing bad reviews from friends and neighbors when it first opened but the other day another friend asked if we had tried the pizza because she heard the calzone was really good. We decided to order calzones for takeout this past Friday and they were FANTASTIC! Perfect ratio of ricotta and mozzarella. In my top 2 best calzones ever. So my husband wanted to go eat there last night and it was an absolute DISASTER! It wasn't really that crowded but they only seemed to have 2 waitresses for the entire restaurant inside and out who also had to be the hostess. We ordered a beer, wine and a margarita and it took close to 25 minutes to get even though they had 2 bartenders! Salads took forever, my husband ordered the grilled spaghetti sandwich and they brought him spaghetti and meatballs. After they fixed the order, the sandwich was slapped together, burnt and not eatable. I ordered the same calzone I had Friday night and there was zero ricotta and very little mozzarella. not even worth bringing home the leftovers! Consistency will make or break a restaurant and after almost a year of being open, they haven't mastered that. and it's quite disappointing because that was going to be my go to when I was craving pizza! read more
