The store carries products from some of my favorite local vendors that I usually only find at the farmers market, along with a great selection of unique drinks and specialty items. One of the highlights was trying the banana water, which was marked as an employee favorite, and now I can see why. Truly taste like a banana, very interesting. The store was well organized, fully stocked, and easy to browse. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. While some items are a bit pricier than what you'd find at a traditional grocery store, the quality and clean ingredients make it well worth the cost. It's a great place to discover healthier options and support local brands at the same time. They also offer a membership for just $15 per year, which seems like a great value if you plan to shop there regularly. I'll definitely be stopping by again!

It was self serve sitting out for I don't know how long. I decided to buy it because it looked decent. She saw I was looking at her so she meandered around to look at me without asking me if she could help, and no hello either. She had a blank expression. I then asked if she could sell me a side of their sauce like Whole Foods does or actually they give a little container for free for the customers who love sauce for their pizza . She said no we can't give out our sauce to you with a rude expression and tone. I then proceeded to check out and got a cashier who also never greeted me. She range up my items and never said thank you. She turned around and started talking to her co-worker. Really? I think they can hire people who actually show appreciation by greeting their customers and saying thank you as they walk out the door. I was the one to say thank you and she didn't say a word . There needs to be much higher service demanded from the pizza area and cashier areas especially with the higher priced food items here. This does not pertain to all cashiers but some that pick and choose who they want to be nice to with respect to the customers passing through. Not a good experience today.

WHOLE FOODS MARKET @ LA JOLLA VILLAGE…read more Whole Foods is one of my favorite grocery stores for snacks, fresh produce, and healthier food options. This location is in La Jolla Village, about a 10 minute drive from UTC. Parking is available right out front, but since it is located in a shopping plaza with several other restaurants and stores, the parking lot can definitely get busy. I usually come here during the weekdays, and surprisingly it is still pretty crowded around 1:00 PM. Even with how busy it gets, the store is always very organized, clean, and well stocked. I rarely have trouble finding what I need because the staff are constantly restocking the shelves. One thing I really like about this location is that it also has Amazon returns, which makes it super convenient if you need to drop off a package while grocery shopping. Some of my favorite items to buy here are the Simple Mills crackers. They are gluten free, made with simple ingredients, and taste so much better than a lot of processed crackers. I also love shopping for their fresh produce because they offer a great selection, including produce from local farms, which is always nice to see. Overall, I would definitely keep coming back to this Whole Foods. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store is clean and organized, and they have a great variety of high quality groceries and healthier food options.

# One of the Most Expensive Grocery Stores in California, but You Can't Use an Electrical Outlet?!…read more I honestly don't understand the logic behind this decision. Whole Foods already charges premium prices for just about everything, and now this location has decided to block off the electrical outlets in its eating area that customers used to be able to use while enjoying lunch. I used to come here, grab something to eat, plug in my laptop, and get some business done. Apparently, that's too much to ask now! Let me be clear: **I have absolutely no problem with a two-hour seating limit.** That's reasonable. The seating area is there for customers, and nobody should be camping out all day. But blocking a couple of electrical outlets? Seriously? Can someone please make this make sense? We're living in a digital world where people conduct business on laptops, answer emails, and work remotely. Yet Whole Foods, a grocery store that charges premium prices for practically everything, apparently can't accommodate customers who want to enjoy their $75 lunch while getting a little work done. And yes, that $75 lunch comment is sarcasm, but sometimes the prices here make you feel like you're paying that much! Whole Foods is already among the most expensive grocery stores in California, if not the most expensive, and now customers can't even use a couple of outlets in the eating area? What exactly is the concern? Are customers going to bankrupt the company by plugging in a laptop for an hour? Is electricity suddenly more expensive than the food you're selling? Or is this just another example of a business making the customer experience worse for absolutely no good reason? **Here's my position: As long as the outlets remain blocked and customers can't use the power that was previously available, this negative review stays up.** If management changes this policy and restores access to the outlets, I'll gladly remove the review. Businesses should be looking for ways to make customers want to return, not finding new ways to inconvenience them. Whole Foods, you're already charging premium prices. The least you could do is let customers use a couple of electrical outlets while they eat. Can someone please make it make sense?
