When we moved into our house in late 2015, we hired Bufkin Tile to take out the carpet from the…read moremaster bedroom and second bedroom and install tile. At that time, the back patio was enclosed and we had a large concrete patio added outside of the enclosed patio. Bufkin Tile installed the new tile for the back patio as well. In January 2022, we finally decided to take out the existing wall separating the enclosed patio from the one that was "outdoors" and enclose the entire patio to make a large Florida room. Of course, when the existing wall was removed, there would be a gap in the tile. Luckily, we still had some leftover tile. Rob from Bufkin was happy to come out to our house and check out the project. While he was there, he also noticed another tile that needed to be replaced. He gave us an estimate on the spot that was well below what we expected. We told Rob about our plans and he said no problem, just let him know when the rest of the work is done and they would come over and take care of the tile. He took a piece of the existing grout with him to match the color. Okay, the screen enclosure is completed on a Friday in April and Bufkin Tile comes over the following Wednesday to remove the existing tiles, prep the floor for the new tile, and place the new tiles. On Thursday Dave came to grout not only the newly installed tiles but the entire length of the patio where it meets the house. He is truly the best grouter in the business. It is an absolutely beautiful job. But, we're not done yet. Dave came back on Friday to do an acid wash to make the already perfect job absolutely spotless. We've counted on Bufkin Tile for several different tile installation jobs over several years. They ALWAYS exceed our expectations. Every person who works for Bufkin is an artist. In our opinion, there are no alternatives.

He cleaned all the grout first so he could match the color of the grout. Earlier this year, I had called a local carpet cleaning company to clean our carpeting and they said they could also clean the grout in our tile. I agreed and they cleaned the tile/grout. While it appeared better than before, the grout was not consistently clean. Since then, we have had a number of spots where the grout crumbled. Tony matched the grout perfectly and you cannot tell where it was replaced. Our shower looks brand new. The grout throughout the house is all one color and not spotty. Highly recommend!
