I have a full experience with Barfield Contracting and Associates. I saw their work on my neighbors reroof and I was very impressed. I worked with Nick ( general sales manager) and he had a wealth of knowledge to share with us. The other 3 reps that came out, did not have the answer to my questions. Pure POS from start to finish. Roof never leaked until it was replaced after Hurricane blew off shingles. They replaced roof with unsupervised and unsupported foreign workers who spoke no English but told me they did not get support from their boss at Barfield Roofing. It cost me thousands more to find a roofing company that would even look at my roof after I advised then that Barfield was my roofing contractor. While waiting for them to do my warranty work, they shut down, perhaps from so many other complaints against them. They appear to be known and have a reputation for very SHODDY WORK. Worked with Nick at Barfield Contracting after we had storm damage to our roof, gutters and interior. Nick was always available to answer questions and had his contractors come to the house in a timely manner. Barfield pricing was very competitive and fair. Had barfield come and do my roof a few years back it'll never be the same they did the crappiest job and their service sucked. When they told me it was going to take two weeks it took 4 months to totally complete a small roof. I would not recommend using this company for construction or your roofing project !!! read more

Barfield Contracting was referred to me by a friend who was very satisfied with the work they did on her roof. She said when she needed a new roof she would be calling them. Nick Blazensky, their Sales Manager was very personable and kept us in the loop of what was going on. Cohl and his roofing crew did a superb job on our roof. They were here early to start and worked hard all day. They took care of the material from the old roof too. Nick referred us to Steve who did our new soffit and gutters. Just like another review. Run away do not look back. I contracted with Lowes to have my roof re-shingled. They had me sign a blank form with no contractor listed on it. What a mistake that was. Barfield is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am 75 and have contracted with many companies. They were to unscrew my gutters so they could be reinstalled. they ripped them off of the house also damaging the facia. Said they would replace the facia but did not. They installed the roofing incorrectly and had a lot to redo. Flunked inspection twice. When a supervisor came out. he stated, well if that is how the city wants it, we will redo it. Basically telling me he had no idea what the city's building code is. They removed ducting from my microwave vent and covered over the hole in the roof for the vent. They installed all the vents incorrectly and had to do them all over again. The installers broke my fence, my motion sensor light, ripped my new swimming pool screening. Installed new screening but did not do it correctly. Looks terrible. My painted drive ahs tar all over it including my freshly painted walk around my home. They had a dumpster in my driveway for weeks. Damaged my drive with rust from the dumpster. A 5 day job turned into 5 weeks plus. They removed a lot of stucco, replaced it and refused not to paint it. I get a call telling me to remove the material from Lowes so they can get the dumpster removed. They would not call Lowes. Told me to get it moved. Did that while screaming at me on the phone. A woman no less. When I asked for her name she hung up on me. I have lots of pictures but do not know how to post them. I have everything documented. Gert any roofing contractor in you location. Not some company two hours away from you. read more

Excellent job - sales to office administration. We wanted a specific roof shingle on another house and Dan traveled to the address 10 miles away to ID. PM "Kai" handled my concerns with utmost respect and no hesitation. Dealing with the city was very easy and gave great/positive comments when dealing with Barfield Contracting. Marybeth handled a warranty concern honoring the contract. Great Job - by the way advertisement on News 13 paid off. read more

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Their sales rep, Steve H. was late to arrive to give an estimate, rude, and wanted to do everything via text instead of talk. Knowing I was an out-of-town homeowner, I drove down to Cocoa - a 14 hour drive - twice when neither time was really necessary. Your calls to their office goes to voice mail and then your phone call never gets returned. Their front office appears inept, screwing up the scheduling of my re-roof - until I had to scream on the phone for them to arrive on the originally planned date. They claim they're busy - yes, apparently so much so as to not need your business. Go elsewhere because even though they're cheap and their work crew seems to have done satisfactory work, you can find far better customer service elsewhere. I would never use these guys again and I'd encourage others to go elsewhere as well. read more

I agree with Scott's review. Customer Service is horrendous. I had a guy come for an estimate. He was extremely rude and cocky. Treated my like an imbecile for not knowing about roofs (of course I'm not an expert, that's why I called him!). He then asked to see my insurance claim papers, of course I said no, and told him I didn't have them. Even after I said no, he asked, of course in his rude tone, where they were. I was speechless. At that point I asked him to leave. He was rude and obviously shady for asking me to see my paperwork. A bad experience. read more

Very disappointed!! Called & made an appt. for roofing estimate & rearranged my Spring Break to be home from 9-11 am appt. with estimator. Called around 10:15 am to verify he was coming & was told he would be arriving shortly. At 12:20 pm I called office to see where he was at & when she called he didn't answer their call & she didn't know where he was. She wanted to reschedule with a more reliable estimator next week & i declined since i had already waited over 3 1/2 hours & they offered no explanation & i have to return to work & wont have any availability since I'm a single parent/grandparent & have other obiligations!! I guess Mr. Barfield is so rich his company didn't need my money!! if the estimator jad made contact & had explained why he missed my appt. I wouldn't have commented, but not having the courtesy to call is unacceptable business practices!!!!! read more

Excellent customer service! Quick turn around time and very responsive to my concerns. Courtney had a guy out to inspect my Mom's roof after a hail storm within 24 hours of my initial call! Excellent price, professional, courteous workers. The downside is that they parked their huge dumpster right in front of my garage door and I had an emergency the first night and couldn't get my car out. Even after the roof was finished the dumpster sat in my yard until I had to call them to ask them to come and take it away. When one of the owners came to pick up the dumpster I gave him a check for the balance owed, which he somehow lost and payment had to be stopped and a new check written. The other issue was that I paid for a GAF Warranty and Wind Mitigation to be be done and a month later I still had neither and had to call and request them. I would withhold final payment until you have both in hand. read more
