Listen! I ate and left no crumbs...literally!…read more I was looking for a breakfast spot and this place popped up. It's one of those places that you don't know exist unless you know it's there. It's located on the corner of Webb Ginn Rd and Grayson Hwy and is connected to a Shell gas station. When I walked in, it reminded me of someone's kitchen, which I really loved. Very warm and inviting. There were pictures on the wall of different celebrities. I'm a big OutKast fan so I definitely enjoyed them paying homage to OutKast and of course my Falcons. So the restaurant is New York City food infused with southern comfort which is so intriguing to me. They have a very nice and expansive menu from seafood, burgers, and breakfast items. They even have vegan options as well. The kind lady that took my order did say that everything on the menu is sold all day. I asked her how long had they been open and she said last June made a year. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the Oreo cookie crunch cheesecake but to my horror, the kind lady said something about they did not have dessert. Now I'm not sure if they had ran out or just wasn't serving dessert at that time but it was just after 11am when I got there, so it was lunch time hours. Needless to say, I was disappointed but the food definitely made up for me. The shrimp and grits were AMAZING! The sauce was what really did it. The biscuit had like a honey topping and was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The portion size was perfect! I'm thinking really hard y'all but honestly, I have to say that, that was the BEST shrimp and grits I've ever had. I'm looking forward to going back and getting that Oreo cheesecake and I really want to try the hoagie.

We were craving breakfast food (we don't do Waffle House-lol) after being out all day and we caught this place right before closing, and they didn't treat us like they were closing, they cooked our veggie omelettes to order, so the food was hot and fresh, the home potatoes were seasoned to perfection and again, that biscuit was not playing, all soft and yummy on the inside and flaky on the outside. My guys is already planning what he will be ordering next -lol Friendly service and great prices. Check them out, you will not be disappointed, the place is small, more so for take out and they have a decent size menu.

I had high hopes for 1910 Public House, especially after a trusted friend raved about their…read moreexperience there. Unfortunately, my recent Sunday visit for a takeout order left me thoroughly disappointed, and nearly $50 lighter with very little to show for it. The Food: I ordered two items: the pimento cheese fritters and the shrimp and grits. The pimento cheese fritters were, in a word, average. They looked and tasted like standard fried cheese balls--nothing visually impressive, nothing exciting about the flavor, and at $16 (or $4 a piece), I expected something with a little more creativity or punch especially at entree pricing for an appetizer. It was just pimento cheese, deep fried. That's it. Just as literal as could be. The shrimp and grits was the bigger disappointment. At $26, I expected a hearty, well-portioned dish. What I got was four average-sized shrimp and barely any andouille sausage--and I mean barely. It was just one thin slice of smoked sausage, cut in half, and placed in the entire dish. That was it. The portion felt light the moment I picked up the bag, and once I got to my friend'd and opened it, that feeling was confirmed. I will say, as an avid Yelp user I did my homework before ordering. I looked through photos on their page and noticed that their Shrimp & Grits looked completely different across three separate photos. When I asked the staff about it when I arrived, they mentioned the menu rotates every twelve weeks, which is fine, but the inconsistency made it hard to know what I was actually ordering. Atmosphere: I didn't dine in, but from what I could see, the space seemed nice. It's located in a charming, up-and-coming part of Lilburn, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant. So there's that. Final Thoughts: This meal was definitely not worth $50. It wasn't worth the drive, and honestly, it wasn't worth the effort. The food was underwhelming, the portions were stingy for the price, and the value just wasn't there. My friend loved the place, so maybe they caught a good day, but based on my experience, I don't know if I'll personally be returning. If I'm being honest, if I wasn't so tired then and it wasn't as far as it was, I would've just driven back, returned the food, and gotten a refund.

My friend and I came in around lunch time on a Monday, little to no crowd. There is a back lot for parking or street parking in front. Our waiter Jessica (Shoutout!!) was so patient and gave 11/10 service. Thank you for the recommendations girl! We started with appetizers: Grit Fries & Crawfish Corn Chowder Soup -Fries were a very crispy outside, creamy inside and the dipping sauce was a slam dunk -Soup was very filling and had all the right flavors Main course: Breakfast Croissant (Gluten Free Bread) & Nashville Chicken Sandwich -Both very good and the fries were crispy, chicken was flavorful and not hot at all! Ended off with a berry cobbler that was so tasty! I left a new cobbler fan! Thank you Public House and I WILL be returning!

The menu changes daily with some stuff being served all week. The food is delicious and includes country dishes such as collards, mac and cheese, cornbread, etc. My favorites main courses are the pot roast, shrimp, and the ham. My only thing is I didn't like the sweet potato soufflé, which was very disappointing, but maybe it was a bad day. Different entrees are made per day, and they post the menu on their website. They have a huge salad bar and a dessert bar. They also offer takeout where you can pay for a to-go box per pound. It's a bit pricey, but for all you can eat it's decent, you'll definitely get your money's worth. I was sad to see the tea is no longer free, but it's understandable considering the current state of prices. I recommend trying this place out to those wanting a good, hearty meal.

For lunch I especially love the meat roast over rice with mac and cheese. The fried chicken is always fresh and made to perfection, as well as their large selection of sides. The seafood is really good, my favorite being the fried shrimp and salmon, I believe they only have this on weekends though. The staff is super sweet and attentive, making it a great experience overall. Would definitely recommend for a family dinner or date with your loved one!

The restaurant has very subtle signage, so easy to overlook this gem if you do not know about it! Come hungry!
