Talked me through breathing if I had cramps, massaged gently on my stomach during the water release, and truly educated me on nutritional facts. I will be back in 2 months and my husband after his session today signed up for 2 more days back to back since he had a slight blockage. **They recommend 3 days in a row if you haven't had one in a while or eat a lot of meat. The therapist was very attentive and personable, I've had several colonics performed in different states open and closed and the system and water that they are using is unacceptable, the system is very old. Also, I'm not sure but this place could be using bad water as well. The staff is great, very personable and in-tune with how you are feeling throughout the session. I had never heard of colonics until I was referred by a naturopath. The staff really helped to educate me and keep my visits consistent until I started seeing progress. Everyone is different and it may take several colonics before you start to see improvements with your conditions and getting your daily movements on a regular schedule, I didn't notice an impact until about my 8th colonic. I began to realize that my gut was in bad shape. It's opened my eyes to how important our gut actually is and how many illnesses we can prevent by keeping a healthy gut. This place saved me as I uncovered I had parasites, which after research is actually common and no one really does anything about them. In researching, the CDC stated 1 in 8 humans have one type of ringworm parasite! I was experiencing severe fatigue, cystic acne, bloating, and mood issues all of which resolved over the last few months of being a frequent customer. Nothing else helped prior from antibiotics, supplement line for mood and energy, or simplifying my diet. Elizabeth literally saved me. Elizabeth is a "miracle worker" at what she does and has a very incredible gift. I used to be skeptical of nutritionists because they never came close to my standards and they were inexperienced, especially when they weren't vegans, they simply could not fathom the topic, let alone holistic approaches. I mainly wanted to improve my eating habits and to learn the best way to meal prep on a vegan diet. I am against plastic, chemicals, processed foods, etc. So to be able to find someone that has similar views, let alone an author of a book, raw food chef, nutritionist, and lives in Phoenix is truly incredible. I ended up having dozens of goals and hundreds of questions that Elizabeth both answered all of them and provided multiple solutions for each goal that far beyond exceeded my expectations.
