We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at BCMInns in Hinton during our trip to Jasper National Park. Service was fast and friendly, and the room itself was very spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was served from 5:00am to 9:00am and was well-stocked with eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, etc. Not the greatest breakfast but it did the job and was on par with the breakfast you'd find at most Holiday Inn Express locations and certainly better than some of the other free hotel breakfasts I've had at budget hotel chains. The hotel looks like it's an older hotel that was renovated, but they did a nice job with the renovation as it did not feel like we were staying in "old" hotel. A/C worked well, and we did not notice any noise coming from the adjacent rooms. My only real complaint would be that the bathroom was smaller than average, though the rest of the room had plenty of space.
I should also note that this hotel consists of a "hotel" portion and a "motel" portion with outdoor hallways that is separate from the main hotel, so something to keep in mind while booking (we were in the "hotel" portion). Based on our drive in and out of Hinton, there didn't appear to be too many nicer hotel options out there, so we would gladly stay here again. There is also a pool/water slide area attached to the hotel which might be helpful to know if you have kids.
