I had to follow up 5 times to get them to send me the policy documents. Their excuse? They were waiting for my wife to approve the purchase. Of course when she received the request she ignored it as it made no sense. I am the only person on the title to my motorcycle so why does she have to approve. I'm not 16! I noticed they've changed their email and URL to waypoint something so I'm thinking they've been bought out. Would certainly explain the collapse in service.

I am impressed that he was able to renew the registration for our vehicle so quickly - in less than 15 minutes! I agreed to a follow-up phone call to discuss a couple of options. True to his word, Faraz called me on the agreed upon date, exactly at the time that he said he would. I then asked him if he would be available to provide me with clarification over the phone on a Saturday. He agreed and he did indeed do so.

My father passed away earlier in September, and I've provided the death certificate to this company. They refuse to cancel his car insurance policy and are demanding additional documentation we don't have. I've called and emailed multiple times and still haven't been able to get this resolved. As a former Nuera Insurance customer, I was disappointed by my experience after they got acquired…read moreby Westland Insurance / Westland Express. Nuera always provided top notch service and their website was easy and simple to use, and it was easy to reach insurance agents by phone. After the acquisition, Nuera's online insurance portal changed over to Westland Express's site. When logging in on Westland Express, you must choose between ZipTenant and Pocket portals - which I personally find confusing to the end user. Formerly with Nuera, could easily contact and speak to someone on the phone to discuss your insurance needs and questions... but with Westland Express, it's online and email only!!! For me, it's completely unacceptable that you can't reach anyone on the phone and have to do everything over email, waiting for asynchronous replies. IMO this just delays and slows everything down. Further, on my account there was no way to cancel insurance in the new online portal once logged in, so had to do that over email instead. Not sure if that was a bug or feature. Add to this various confusing email communications during the transition from Nuera to Westland Express' portals/plans and it was enough for me to pull the plug. Moved on to another provider at a more competitive rate, one which offered quickly accessible and helpful phone support. While I don't plan on returning, I hope they will update their portal login process to use only one platform for simplicity, and rethink their decision to only offer email support on Westland Express, as IMO it's detrimental to not have phone service vs other competitors.

They proceeded to call us every 3 months for 2 years asking if they could quote for a $2 million home. At the time I didn't want to change company's. Then 6-weeks ago I decided to give them a shot. I had 2 separate meetings with Westland staff and supplied them with the detailed documentation they wanted with a date I'd need the quite by; a month away. As the date drew closer I had to call them 4 times over 3-weeks asking when the quote would be ready; 3 times leaving my number with a staff requesting a call back form the fellow I was working with. I received no call back from them after the first 3 to speak with the fellow who had my file. As the final date neared I called a 4th time and got through to my guy. He said he was still working on it and was aware of my dates, as we'd discussed. In the end the date passed without the promised quote or even a call from Westland - we've never had an insurance claim BTW - and we stayed with our original insurer who were very diligent. I might have expected a call or explanation why Westland were too busy to do a quote; especially given I'd insured all our vehicles there for 15 years. Nice enough people, but very unprofessional on this occasion and kind of a waste of time gathering everything they'd asked for.
