These guys saved the day after Home Depot screwed me over…read more Come back from being gone all weekend to find out our water heater was no longer working. After talking with the gal who answered the phone and explaining the mess we were in, they had someone go out that morning to investigate the problem. They called me back late that morning, gave me an estimate ( a bit higher than I anticipated) and said they could be there the next day. Next day comes, and lo and behold they show up! They completed the job in a few hours including making sure all was up to code. County Inspector came out and no issues. All in all very happy with the job done and the efficiency of their service.

We had a…read morecracked shower pan and no one else we called had the skills to do both the repair AND tile work, so we were looking at long down time of not using our bathroom/shower with coordination between multiple contractors. Jared offered different options and listened to our preferences then provided some recommended tweaks during the project resulting in a finished project that far exceeded our expectations in very reasonable amount of time. Not only does Jared have a broad range of excellent skills, he is easy to work with too. He showed up each day when he said he would and was prompt with communications every step of the way. It's a win/win when we get to support Veterans who also do great work -- we highly recommend Jared and will hire him again for our next handyman project.

Outstanding Service - Above and Beyond!…read more I rarely leave reviews, but Chris Olive Handyman Services in Pioneer, CA, truly deserves five stars! I found Chris and his coworker/partner Aryiel online--not through a referral--so I knew hiring them could be a risk. From the very first interaction, Aryiel set the bar high. She responded within 24 hours, was professional, knowledgeable, smart and incredibly easy to work with. My situation was complicated: I needed maintenance help about 30 minutes away in West Point, CA, at a house full of tenants while I was over seven hours away and couldn't be there in person. Despite the distance and challenges, Chris and Aryiel were responsive, punctual, and so skilled. They handled everything efficiently and professionally, keeping me informed every step of the way. I worked mostly with Aryiel, but it was clear that she and Chris make an amazing team. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled perfectly, exceeding my expectations in every way. I can't thank them enough for their hard work and dedication. If you need trustworthy, professional, and highly capable handyman services in Pioneer, West Point, or the surrounding areas, I highly recommend Chris Olive Handyman Services--you won't be disappointed!

We hired Casey from CB Home to install a skylight at our Blue Lake Springs cabin and the outcome…read morewas a complete failure. Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. Between the failed installation and the way he disappeared afterward, this felt like dealing with a rookie amateur rather than a professional contractor. Based on our experience, do not use Casey from CB Home. We are including photos of the installation to document the quality of his work.
