Not what I was expecting Allandale Pennine Pale Ale 4.5% ABV... slightly fruity, a citus rind. Says it is an English pale ale. This one has some IBUs Hefe my Sun hefeweizen 5.4% ABV... this hefe is a tad Americanized with a little hoopiness to it, and I yes I made up those words. Still enough banana and clove, with a Miller finish. Mashing Gourds Pumpkin Ale 6.3% ABV... semi sweet festive flavored ale, slightly perfumey Dunns Gate Nitro Stout 4.1% ABV... dry stout with hints of coffee and caramel, finishes smokey 'Schmello milk stout 5.5% ABV... Oh wow, sweet marshmallow chocolate and maybe graham cracker goodness. Like a smokes, but the beer form is way better. The BEST of the lot. They were prompt with offers of drinks and refills--and also filled us in on some of the history of how they ended up opening a hookah bar. Just all around a wonderful experience! One of the bar tenders couldn't get the block of ice to split, so she had another bar tender split the ice and use it in our old fashion. I didn't see any of them wash their hands before or after. Also they didn't rinse the shakers between drinks. It was also hard to get their attentions after our first round. Five bartenders and my fiance standing there for 10 mins with no acknowledgement. They were all lost on their conversations and drinks. We left after the second round.
