There's a wonderful bark on this brisket which comes from a generous seasoned rub, low heat and a lot of TLC. Is it supposed to be fatty? You bet. Brisket is a tough cut of meat and fat provides tenderness, moisture and flavor. This ain't fine dinin' but the service from the counter is always welcoming and helpful. There is indoor and outdoor seating if you'd prefer to stretch your legs and eat here instead of waiting for the long drive home. The sides and sauces are very good as well.
