This place is pretty legit and has a great selection of just about everything. On this trip I was looking for tools to cut wavy lines in blocks of cheese and special forks to dip chicken in sauce. Go ahead... try and figure out that combo. Guess what?? They had EXACTLY what I needed even though I don't think any of the items I bought were made for what I am using them for. So while I was there I noticed there are some focus areas here. There were about a billion cookie cutter molds and a LOT of baking and decorating supplies. I don't bake so this was mostly shiny stuff to look at and wish someone would bake for me. They also have a lot of container type stuff and a little bit of everything else. Nice people working here and super friendly in helping you come up with a plan for what you are doing.

My wife and I like to go here every so often to see what is new. It is nice to help out local business ventures that provide unique items. They do have sales items periodically and have some items that are harder to see in person if you want to check something out before buying. For Your Kitchen does have a nice selection of aprons for cooking. The owner is very nice and easy to talk to, as well as the staff.

He was professional, helpful, & knowledgeable. Why am I giving them a one star you might ask? Because of my second experience just a couple weeks later. I went in to purchase a mounted microwave. Pam was my sales associate & just like Spencer, was professional, helpful & knowledgeable. I choose the microwave I wanted, payed for it, & then was told they didn't have it in stock until after I purchased it. They then told me **I would have to go to a different facility** to go pick it up a week later. (The day I purchased this was a Saturday & they told me I'd get it Thursday) Strike one. But I was willing to try to be the better person & left their store saying thank you. Later that evening I called the store & told them I wanted to pay the additional 100$ to have it delivered & installed. They told me not a problem & they would call me on the scheduled day ( a week from then) to let me know what time they'd arrive. I never received a phone call on the delivery day (Thursday) & could not get ahold of an associate to see what was going on. Strike two. I called them the following day (Friday) & asked what was going on. I was told I'd get a phone call back within 30 minutes. An hour went by & I called them. I spoke with an Associate named Linda. I was told that they didn't know what was going on & that it could be delivered tonight (Friday). I explained to them I was not happy that no one reached out to me, & that now I need to cancel my Friday night plans with my wife to wait for a microwave to be delivered & installed before 7pm. I asked if I could get any kind of discount, compensation, credit or anything for the inconvenience. Linda, being *very rude* told me tough luck, we can give you a refund or change the delivery date. Strike three. So here we are. Come on Boyles. You treated me with respect when I was making a purchase. But after I've made the purchase, if you're going to treat people rudely, discount or not, I have to tell others to be aware. Do better. ***Update (the following day)*** My microwave was never delivered that Friday night as I was told. I just called this morning & found out they canceled my order on their own stating "we weren't sure if you wanted us to bring it still & we saw your one star review".... my favorite part was being called a liar this morning when I told you I wanted it delivered yesterday. Very professional. This is some of the worst customer service I've ever seen. I paid you. You took my money. I was told a day. You didn't do your job. I followed up. You told me you weren't sure what happened. I stated I was upset. You didn't care. I told you to deliver it last night. You told me it would arrive by 7pm. It never did. I called the following morning to be told you weren't sure if I wanted it anymore & was called a liar..... Do you see the pattern? If someone pays you for a service, do it, especially if it's your instructions of when it will be done.

On delivery their guys tracked in 3-4 inch globs of mud, broke items on our ceiling as they hit the freezer, then smacked the freezer on the metal and concrete in our storage room doorway. We called four times asking them to check the freezer as it would not get down to the temperature of the exact same one next to it. They refused to come but claimed to put an extended warranty on it. Here we are a year after the manufacture warranty and they're refusing to do anything, claiming it's our fault for not harassing them until they showed up to view the damage. Sally, the manager, was awful to deal with throwing out accusations like everything had been our fault even after talking to their own delivery guys and their admission to all that they had done. As if the damaged top of the door could have been caused by anything but exactly what their guys hit! Never again! I will go absolutely ANYWHERE but here and tell everyone I know and talk to.

    Where to start? I…read moreordered some "Hearty Meals" because they were out of everything else. Deal was $11.99 for 1-5 or $5.99 for 6+ Hadn't tried these, so ordered 6 of each type of meal except (ridiculously overpriced) chicken noodle soup. Meals were 4 servings of whatever you ordered. Quality was good, typical Honeyville good stuff. I've ordered from these folks since early 2000's...they WERE my go to provider. Anyhow, sampled one meal (the Hearty Chicken Primavera with Zucchini. Good stuff...two thumbs up. I did add some spice and a little extra chicken I already had cooked after I sampled the "bare" meal but hey, I could have lived off the basic stuff. Tonight, I called my daughter who is in another state which just shut down. "How is your food supply." She's a Vet and does almost nothing outside work. Got the "Uhhhhh. I hope to get some emergency supplies tonight." Went on Honeyville's website. Meals are now $12.99 each and no quantity discount. How are these guys different than the Purell guy in Tennesses who jumped on the crisis early on and jacked up hand sanitizer early on? Profiteering is profiteering, no matter how they do it. VERY disappointed in Honeyville. Very much an EX-customer. To heck with these guys if they are going to profiteer off a crisis. My guess is they will try to answer "gee, limited time offer." Let me be clear...last week they had no such restrictions. This is clear profiteering. 3/18 Update. Got the reply today from a comment on their website: "Cheri Seale (Honeyville) Mar 18, 1:36 PM MDT Hi Jim, Thank you for contacting Honeyville. Unfortunately the sale on the Hearty meals ended. A sale that wasn't identified as a limited time event (nothing on the website said this was a sale or limited time offer, or ends on XXXXXX date.) Demand up. Production down. Just a major coincident a website that didn't identify it as a sale now has taken that sale price away. Somehow $7 per package (with a price increase) is not price gouging. Got it. Judge for yourself. Honeyville is like the Purell guys to me. You make your own value judgement.
