Stopped by today for a to go order! I ordered the Soy Garlic wings and sweet potato fries! The soy Garlic suce is AMAZING!! Its sweet and tangy without being too salty or overpowering!! The sweet potato fries were a disappointment. They were soggy and lacked flavor. Almost as if they came out the fries too early. Was so excited to try this place out. Visited on Friday night. Half a dozen People were waiting on their food. We were told it would take half hr to an hour. However, they ran out of chicken wings. Only had whole and boneless wings. Not sure how a chicken restaurant runs out of one of their hottest item. But they just opened up and I suppose this is part of the growing pains. So be warned- come early if you want to eat. Be prepared to wait. Oh and the prices are high. We ended up going to The chicken Factory in Hoboken and were so happy we did because their wings are always bomb. Will try this place again-hopefully we have a better experience. read more

My coworkers also get bb.q chicken from the Ktown location and say how good it is. I was excited to see that there's a location in Bayonne. I tried to place an online order after 8:30 but was unable to since they closed at 9. I called the store and the woman who answered was so nice and let me place a phone order even though they technically weren't taking any new orders. We ordered the 1/2 portion of the original golden chicken, 1/2 order of the Gangnam style wings and the Rose' Ddeok-Bokki. The original (plain) fried chicken was so good. The drumstick especially was so juicy and flavorful. The Gangnam style flavor was really good but there were other parts of the chicken, not just wings. Not a big deal but not sure if it was supposed to be all wings. The Rose' Ddeok-Bokki was interesting. I've never had it before so wasn't sure what to expect but it was good. The chicken is a little pricey but the pieces are big and really fresh/tasty. My boyfriend and I are looking forward to trying additional sauce flavors. read more

I honestly liked this place better than many of similar types of businesses near my job. We did have a long wait to pick up but we knew that in advance and didn't rush over there. Tiny shop for Korean chicken take out but worth the visit. I personally think it is a bit pricey especially given the chicken is pretty boney but very tasty. The kimchi fried rice wasn't really kimchi fried rice but more of some white rice tossed with kimchi. Again not bad but not the best. The chicken itself is very good and the sauce was great! Got to the store and they told me they haven't started my order, and rambled around and kept asking for my order number. Then they told me I had to wait another 30 minutes for my order. Other than that I ordered: original wings, galbi wings, rose dubboki, and cole slaw. With the wings it comes with a side of radish. Original wings: very crispy and tender. Meat was juicy. I would highly recommend ordering this. Galbi wings: a new concept, but they did very well with the flavoring, because it was super delicious. It was not too saucy, but with the sauce it was still crispy and crunchy. Also highly recommend this. Rose dubboki: this was my first time having rose dubboki, and I was truly impressed with the flavoring. I fell in love, and I wish they can add a ramen option with it. I added in some ramen myself, and it was soooo good! The sauce itself was so good! Cole slaw: nothing in particular, just wanted it on the side. Side of Radish: their radish tastes so good! It's marinated super well, and I loved it with the fried chicken. I would come back, but they definitely need to improve on their communication systems. The wait time is honestly out of hand. They messed up my order and were great about making it right. New opening issues aside, the chicken is excellent. Better than several local Korean chicken spots in the area. I ordered through Grubhub for delivery. Delivery was fast and the food arrive hot, fresh, and smelling AMAZING! I order half order of the original Golden Crispy Chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice with Cheese, and Rose Ddeok-bokki with cheese. The order came with a free side of pickled radish which is a nice palette cleanser. The chicken was fresh, juicy, crispy and flavorful. Exactly what I was expecting. I went this past Monday September 18 2023. I ordered a half chicken and only got one drumstick, 2 wings 2 boneless and 3 random pieces that had no meat whatsoever. I told them that my husband is picking up the order from work. I have a screenshot of my whole order which I sent to my husband for proof when he picks up the order, it's also in our email. The chicken is phenomenal. I cannot give a complaint in any sense when it comes to the chicken. I'll be more than happy to wait 20 to 40 minutes for the chicken. As long as it comes out hot and good. The only issue that I'm having now from what I'm finding out they just finished raising prices and they have only been open less than two months, that's the issue that I'm having on Uber eats and on GrubHub they have raise prices on their chicken 4 to 5 dollars extra... I was going to make this a frequent place to buy chicken, but after seeing them raise prices that's not happening I understand with the economy, inflation and everything else but in less than two months you're raising your prices there's no justification for that. Chicken was great. However, i ordered the rose teokkboki with cheese and unfortunately the cheese was rancid. I called the restaurant to let them know of this and they tried to tell me that they had just bought the ingredients that week and that the cheese could not be bad. However, the smell was telling otherwise. I told them i wanted my money back and they said they couldn't do that because only one item out of the order was not good. So i said well if you can't give me my money back can I at least get a replacement? So the owner agreed and drove it all the way down to my house. by then i was already turned off. So i agreed to take the replacement and she asked me to give her the original order because she needed "proof" that the cheese was bad. Which is ridiculous.
