I love the portion sizes here. It isn't like chipotle where they fill your bowl halfway and send you off. They FILL the bowls and burritos, and it's never costed me more than $14. Granted, I don't get many things in my bowl but they still make sure it's packed and heavy. Customer service is very nice too, the employees try to make conversation while making your food. Walked in and walked right out. This place is disgusting; tables, chairs, and floor and all visibly dirty. A stench hits you right as you walk in the door and lingered on my clothes for the rest of the day despite only being in the restaurant for a minute. I had a gut feeling that I should not eat the food or I would risk a long night in the bathroom. Maybe ordering delivery lets you avoid these issues, but I would not want to eat anything that was prepared in a place this dirty. read more

First time coming to Bubbakoo's Burritos, but it won't be my last. Had the chicken today and they have a bunch of other meat options to try. Great customer service beginning from the moment guests walk in the door as they greet everyone. They guy waiting on me, Chris, the ran through the options as well as the new off menu items. Since I was eating in restaurant he came out to see how my meal was which is always a solid touch and the Manager, Gerry, came out also. As I went to eat some of my leftover nachos, there was something that was in the chips and meat that should not have been there. It was a piece of a prong from one of the plastic utensils. Everything i've tried from Bubbakoo's Burritos has been delicious so far! I've ordered takeout and pickup about three times now so my review would be solely on the food. I ordered their shrimp taco bowl and curly fries. They have some of the best curly fries i've ever had before! For the taco bowl, you can customize it to your liking. I am a favor girl, so how exciting does a steak and shrimp hibachi burrito sound? .... Sounds amazing to me!!! They also have sauces and some fried options. My definition of a Love Boat.. but to my disappointment it was so trash. The rice was crunchy, the meat has no taste and the texture was weird. They promised all of this flavor with the old bay curly fries and they were stale tasting. Great ideas but poor execution is the best statement to describe my experience. I will never be back I would give zero stars but the two stars I provided was based on the customer service. My first time trying this chain restaurant. Saw they were opening one near my house in bayonne the menu seemed great. I order for delivery a steak and shrimp bowl with white rice, fajitas, pico de gio, corn and cheese. Order came quick, order was accurate, food looked delicious the only reason I could not give it 5 stars was because the food needed salt bad. Food is 3 or 4 stars, but service and optionality is 5, so bumping up considering this is a new addition to the Bayonne fast casual scene and hope people try out Bubbakoos! I got a taco salad in a hard taco shell with carnitas and my partner got hard tacos with ghost pepper grilled chicken. Both were large portions and came to under 10 dollars each. They have a lot of different types of sauces, add ons like tots and fried oreos, and quesadillas. I liked the amount of options compared to chipotle, but flavor wise it wasn't as flavorful. Service is attentive and pleasant. I appreciated how clean the place is and they were very intentional about the order in which they were piling on the ingredients. I will be back! read more

My order was made incorrectly, I spoke with the manger to correct my order. He said no and said I needed to order a new one, there was nothing he can do with the mistake and stated if I had a problem I can come back in the morning to speak with the owner. I explained I am pregnant and cannot have certain ingredients and he then repeated for me to order a new one, he couldn't have his restaurant miss out on $15. proceeded to take the food, pick out some of the ingredient I couldn't eat and put it back in a container. read more

I have no idea what happened with this place over the last few weeks, but we have ordered foot from Bubbakoo's every Football Sunday since the season started. Every week has been great, with minor hiccups here and there, but mostly great. This week we ordered before the games even started (1ish) and we just got the food 5 minutes ago (3:30). We ordered through the Bubbakoo's App and put a tip on there. Then the Driver gets here and asks for a tip. We told him we did it through the app, and he said that's not for him he's with Doordash???. Now onto the food, that took 2.5 hours, it was cold. Our burrito bowls, our wings, everything was cold. On top of that, they sent us the wrong items (girlfriend ordered fries and they sent fried oreos). Again, idk what happened today but the service and this whole order through them, but delivered by Doordash thing was a horrible experience. May certainly give Qdoba a look going forward. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now, and decided to give it a go. I have a large family of 9, and called to place our order. The person on the phone was rude and said they don't take orders over the phone and to use a delivery service like grub hub. I was a little put off by my interaction on the phone, but decided to just let it go and give the place a try. I placed my order on grub hub and specified that I wanted each burrito labeled so that I knew whose burrito was whose when I got home. When I went to pickup my food, I was checking my order to make sure everything was correct. I immediately noticed that the burritos were NOT labeled and I brought this to the staff's attention. They said that the instruction was not listed on the order. Then I showed them the receipt where it was clearly stated that I wanted them labeled. They said there was nothing they could do about it. I asked, "so am I supposed to take a bite out of each burrito to find out what's inside and give it to the right person?" The staff replied, "yes" and ignored me the rest of the time I was there. Super unprofessional and rude. The food wasn't even worth my $110. Stay away from this place. read more

Ordered the 3 Taco meal with vegan meat and they almost boxed up my meal and bagged it without putting the meat on my tacos. Luckily I was looking at the time and caught that so I didn't go home to a meatless Taco. Also when they out the meat in the tacos they gave way too much and it was just everywhere. I wouldn't have minded a neater Taco at the expense of less meat. I was really excited to try this place, especially being that they served curly fries! I ordered a taco bowl and it was HORRIBLE! The shredded chicken was sooo salty that I had to throw my food away, which I regret because I hate wasting food. The girls that were making the food wore the sand gloves and did not change them once, after touching multiple things. If you're looking for a good taco salad, qdoba is in the next crossing, you'll definitely enjoy that. I will not be back here#yuck read more
