So I took a lock in and requested some keys which they make for me at $70 and when he hands the lock to me, he says " You know these keys won't work, right?" Baffled, I said "what do you mean?" One star because a call a few years ago went very well. The most recent incident was a nightmare. I called in early October and they sent someone over within a few days. I had to call them 3 or 4 times ( over a 4 or 5 week period) to get the estimate. They had me describe the worker that was at my house (couldn't pull it up by name or address). I finally got the estimate (over $500 due to a key-pad request and some other misc.). They were scheduled for the next week and were to schedule with my tenant (I provided phone and e-mail info). It was a no-show. The manager (Jeanne) told me that my e-mail confirming install went to spam - my other e-mails did not. Now, they don't want my business and cancelled due to my "attitude and that of my tenant" - who stayed home for two days waiting for the install. They need to re-vamp their systems and apologize to good customers. I have doubts about my e-mail going to spam as I was returning hers. I don't run a business, but check spam every day or so. read more

I used this locksmith for home services. They didn't return my call on day one (when they said 15 minutes). I should've known right then! The next day we scheduled an appointment for the following week. They were late. Didn't have the proper materials. The work they did wasnt finished. Their rep wasn't professional. And their fees were ridiculous. I got "A Locksmith" to finish the job right. The difference was night and day! read more

Very poor business. They keyed 5 locks for me. One was a kwikset smartkey lock. After installing the smartkey lock, I found that the new key would not open the lock. I returned to the store; first, I was told that I could have "keyed" the smartkey lock myself. They never told me that originally. While I was there, they tried to "rekey" the lock. They could not get the lock to open. They offered me no recourse. Be careful with this locksmith! read more

What a horrific experience. Went in to get some keys copied and witnessed a man (who I was told is the owner) screaming at a co-worker because he wasn't happy with the way she handled something. It was disgusting the way this man was treating this woman. I told another male worker in the store that he should not let this woman be treated this way under any circumstances. He replied that it was the owners and that he let's them "hash it out" Appalling, disgusting, I will never go back. read more

My parents (86 and 93 years old) live in Naples and they encountered a locksmith from this company. They have a battery lock on their door and asked the man if he could change the battery. The guy changed the battery and wanted to charge them $99 with a coupon he said they would pay $87. When they said no he changed the batteries back to the old ones. The best locksmith in town by a long shot. They fix my lock, re key, etc. highly recommend.

Overall I imagine they are a capable locksmith. My biggest issue is that BB is very expensive. Twice I stopped there to get keys made for my Assisted Living facility and I was quoted $18 for a key that I typically pay $4 for. I think they pull pricing out of there pants. What a ripoff. Charged $85 for a service call and then Emailed a quote for $600 to install a Schlage front door lock-set. I bought the same lock-set for $150 and had it installed for $116 by a reputable (A Good Locksmith) company. $266 versus $685....ripoff artists. read more

Rip off business. Needed a key for a file cabinet (was not locked.. I was not desperate) Priced online for $6.95. Decided to go local. Went there with the number from the lockset. 10 seconds later I heard the machine buzzing. 40 Seconds later, the guy handed me the key and a bill for $39!!!! Never once told me what it would cost. I work very hard for $39. They worked 50 second for it. BS not BB. Never again. That is exactly why we all buy online today. Greedy business. That is $2,808 per hour. Shame on them. Great Store! Have used this store many times to have keys made and repairs in the home. Always fabulous work!! I highly recommend!!

Needed to get duplicate keys made for a new lock set in our manufactured home. I mentioned to the technician that I had tried Home Depot and Ace Hardware to get the key duplicated. (Both of these stores refunded my money when I returned the keys.) Thought I would do better going to a locksmith. The first keys they made did not fit. On my return an experienced locksmith told me these keys from Chinese made locks are thinner stock than standard keys. They made two more keys from different stock. These keys did not fit. The policy here is no refunds. I paid twice as much for these keys than the others. So I paid for their mistake. It would have been better if they told me upfront that they could not duplicate my key. read more
