Worst camping experience EVER!!! Do not park your RV here! We were looking for a location close to Silverwood, (their RV sites were all full.) Also, Farragut state park was full. So located Scenic Marina and RV. After driving around trying to find the place we finally were able to navigate to the office. Check-in went smoothly 140$ for 2 nights. A guy on a golf cart drove us to our spot. The RV spots are cut into a hill above their office location. There are multiple spots on each strip. Unfortunate for us we ended up on the top spot which also happens to be right next to the road. So we had fast driving motorcycles, golf carts, and vehicles flying past our trailer slide out. Any closer and they would have have drove through it. Next was the issue of the multiple sites on each strip. Next to us we were shocked to see a single wide manufactured trailer. Apparently they rent these out?!? The individual staying in the shabby looking trailer next to us drove his motorcycle right through our camping spot about 20 min after we arrived! We were horrified-as we have little kids. So my husband tracked down the guy on the golf cart and asked him if our neighbor for the next two days had another way out. He assured us he did. Which yes, he did but it was through the folks campsite directly below us! And that person was staying in a tent trailer. Finally my last major problem with this place was the insanely LOUD TECHNO MUSIC playing until all hours of the night. All that was missing was a strobe light. I was able to turn on the fan in our trailer to drown out the rediculous racket but again felt seriously bad for the individual in the tent trailer because he pry didn't have that luxery. Come to find out there is overflow RV parking at Silverwood (just the gravel parking lot) on the side of the parking lot. Of course there is no hookups but I would have been so much happier paying 25$ and avoiding the drive back and forth, saved money on the 5$ parking fee in addition to the reservation somewhere else and the misery of staying at this dump!!!! I am not generally someone who writes reviews but I wouldn't stay here again even if they paid me too. Even the "view" that they mentioned during the reservation process was blocked by the sight of another single manufactured home (green paint chipping off) below us. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! read more

Ridiculously expensive in comparison to other marinas on the lake, and the moorage price changes each time you contact them. That combined with poor customer service makes this a bad deal all the way around. The manager NEVER calls back as promised, and when visiting the office in person, you're treated as if you're "bothering" them. They are an extremely poor representation of what the beauty of North Idaho is all about! Would NOT recommend at all! read more

Beautiful Resort in Bayview Idaho! As a regular customer, anytime I need any assistance there is always a friendly person there to help. The docks are well kept(I have a boat moored there). If you find yourself in Bayview, do yourself a favor and check out the Marina and it's many amenities! read more

Very poor business practices. We rented a pontoon boat online, paying up front. The paperwork stated boat rental from 7AM to 6 PM, but when we showed up at 8, there was no one around. We finally saw some laborers who told us the office opened at 9 AM. Some accommodation was made based on our complaints, and we were able to move our things onto the boat and depart shortly after 9. However, boat return was now 5 PM. The boat itself was safe and seaworthy, although it was handy that we brought 2 child lifejackets as only one was on the boat. On the negative side, the prop was badly bent which slowed us down and caused increased fuel consumption. The marina office is a 1/2 mile joint to pier, and the pier should be condemned. Of course the day remained a success ad it was a beautiful sunny day on Lake Pend O'reille. The staff was polite and apologetic. I will search for other options before renting from them again. read more

Very poor excuse for a marina or hotel. No customer service. Hotel is a block away from office. Rooms are comfortable but question the cleanliness and safety if the facility. Marina is a disaster. Very unsafe. Broken boards, exposed nails and junk all over the docks. In addition, no cleats to tie your boat, unstable dock fingers, roofs and siding falling off of covered docks and poor lighting. No way anything built on this property is to any code. Amazing they can operate legally. The whole marina, campground, RV parking and hotel have one garbage dumpster that is about the same size as my small office has. Overflows on weekends by Saturday. Dock carts are in varying stages of repair. Nice lady in the office, but the other staff encountered were right out of the movie Deliverance. One guy who rides around on a golf cart looks and acts like some scraggly haired circus clown, with a real "attitude". If you are looking for a Survivor experience and a financial rip-off, visit this place. The only thing it has going for it is the natural beauty of the area. Unfortunately, the experience gets tainted with having to deal with this place, but it is almost the only game in town. Real shame! read more

The whole marina has improved over the past few years. Prices have gone down and quality has gone up. The ladies on the office are super nice and the boy on the scooter is very helpful. All of the docks are nice and the ramps are new, safe and secure. The motel rooms are nice, you can fish right off the deck. The float homes are newly renovated and the rv spaces are spacious and nice. The owner newly put up a designated swimming area and the whole town appreciates it. It it super nice and keeps the kids out of any danger. read more

If you are seeking a terrible, poorly managed and frustratingly loud "camping" experience than go here. If not- avoid. We found this place via the silver wood lodging partners website and thought our previous silver wood campground experience next to the park was crowded loud and shade less. Now we think that the silver wood camping experience is tolerable and not so bad. The first night we were directed to sites directly in front of 5 bulldozers and dumptrucks. They offered us a float home that had a beautiful view but listed to one side and was quite shabby for $225 a night. THe next night we tried to "camp." The Scenic Bay RV resort is next to a bar with an outside patio and plays incredibly loud and terrible music until 2am, thus keeping our whole party up all night. The bathrooms are a block away (and I only learned that they even existed because I happened to ask someone if we had access to bathrooms...) The most frustrating was the confusing and conflicting service we received. I was told something by one person in the office and another by another person. At over $30 a night do not waste your time or money!!! If you can't get a site at Farragut State Park to not go to Bayview. Pony up for a hotel in Hayden. read more
