First I told the woman coming from behind a roll up locked door that a washer jumped ahead on the…read moretimer so much that it had 8 minutes less than an identical washer that I started first and she said I don't work here and then " don't worry the other one will catch up to it. ?!!? Then I told her that the bigger two washers were not spinning between cycles and not really agitating either and she walked away from from me saying the owner was around. So I called the owner and this guy showed up. Not the owner, posing as the"owner " I told him and he said of course there is less time they're smaller washers. Apparently he couldn't comprehend that I was talking about two identical washers. Then he accused me of overloading the washers that weren't spinning. I have worked in a commercial laundry twice. I Know that it is impossible to fill up a washer so much that it doesn't spin between cycles or agitate. Then he told me that it is my fault if my clothes weren't clean. This is after the $1 increase per washer load, no matter what size washer! By the way the dryer time and temps have been adjusted too. I made the comment that the washers are 30 years old and he said how would you know were you here 30 years ago and I said yes. My advice pray the mancelona laundry opens up sooner than later!

Not only is this the cleanest laundromat from Ludington to Petosky, it's the only one with good…read morewater that doesn't stink and turn your whites dingy. Unfortunately, there is no consistency in the days and hours of operation, as well as no convenience. People usually do their laundry after work or on their days off and for three quarters of the population, that's evenings and weekends in which this business is closed. What is the point of providing a great service when you're only open while your customers are working themselves? I guess the community will have to suffer the drive and stinky clothes of community minded laundromats elsewhere or call in sick to have clean clothes..
