For many, many years all of my pets saw Dr. (Mike) Foley, he was totally amazing (as is his son Dr. David Foley) he was the primary reason that I never switched vets. Since his retirement I primarily see Dr. V, and my dogs absolutely adore him as do I, he is very knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate, when I recently had to say goodbye to one of my beloved fur babies, he shed tears right along with me!! Not only are the Vets at Brighton Animal Hospital terrific but their Support Staff and Facility is too! I would highly recommend them for all aspects of pet care and their prices are fair too.

I was working with Dr. Benedetti specifically to resolve my pet's issue and she was an absolute pleasure. As I mentioned, it was a bit complicated, but Dr. Benedetti was always patient, helpful, and extremely warm, which during my stressful time, was very comforting. Her gentle disposition made even my spastic dog feel relaxed (which is quite the feat). The staff in general are just very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. No question insignificant, and always on hand to clarify anything. A special shoutout to the admin staff too - they rock! I had to get several documents faxed into the office and out of it and the admin girls were always on top of it! Calling me if something hadn't come in/couldn't get out. Wonderful customer service through & through. The clinic is also very clean and welcoming for both pets and humans. Treats for the dogs (and cats too I assume) and complimentary coffee/beverages for guests to make the visit even more enjoyable. Five stars 100%!

Our vet was booked up, given the holiday week but they gave me a number of vets in their network. I went down thru the list with the first 5 (I went from closest to further) and just as I was about to panic I called AIC, even though they did not open until 11:00). I left a message and also emailed (which is their preferred method of communication). Within about 10 minutes, still prior to 11:00, I got a call back and was set with a 2:00 appt. Got there 10 min early and almost immediately my boy go called escorted into the back room. During this time I heard the front desk people turn a couple of people away due to being booked, I felt horrible for them yet fortunate for us. Maybe 10 minutes later we were called into the exam room by the vet, a very friendly and helpful young woman, had everything explained to us and a quick general exam and out the door. Very reasonalbe price and the best, most friendly and helpful people you would ever want to know! The whole this took roughly 1/2 hours. I'm so grateful she was the doctor I went to for the last few visits with my fur baby. 5 stars Dr Hall: I brought my other dog to check her eye because it was irritated and red. She was diagnosed at another vet for an ulcer and that left her w a scar on her cornea and I wanted Dr Hall to check if she had another ulcer. He used an otoscope to look and he told me "she's lucky her previous ulcer left her w no scarring". Which is crazy cause you can see the scarring w the naked eye. So.... Yeah I definitely didn't feel confident in his diagnosis and ended up taking her to another vet. He was nice but I think it might be time to consider retirement. 3 stars

The medications were then increased . When we were seen he renewed the medication at the incorrect prior dose . Obviously not reviewing telephone conversation and instructions with an increased dose Felt he did not take my pets medical concerns seriously. I will leave this practice so that my dog's symptoms are treated appropriately . He stated my dog looked good . Yes , she looked good due to the increased dosage that she was given earlier , not the lower INEFFECTIVE prior dose . He just dismissed my concerns and renewed her medication at the prior , lower ineffective dose . A waste of time and funds for this visit . I would not recommend this veterinarian as he does not listen to your concerns . Time for Dr . Hall to Retire . Support staff is kind and caring.

Theravet saved us! We needed to kennel our beautiful pittie boy last minute because, as it turns…read moreout, he no longer gets along with my fiancee's parents' boston terrier (we were visiting Rochester from NYC for Thanksgiving). The two dogs had an all out battle the day before Thanksgiving. For peace of mind, we decided to kennel our boy for two days which was a hard enough decision as is. Having made that decision, we then encountered the fact that every place was booked! We must have called 8 different places in Rochester only to be told that they did not have any availability. I called Theravet (found them on Yelp) at around 3 p.m. Wednesday and the nice lady (Leslie) told me they had a spot (thank gawd). What time do they close? Like around now, she says...ha! Thankfully, Leslie said she'd wait the 15 minutes it took for us to get over there. Theravet is really nice and cozy. The place was buzzing considering it was the day before a holiday. There were two dogs getting their physical therapy on when we dropped off Roy. Boarding isn't cheap here and they sell you on extras but it's worth it. The place is so homey and well-staffed. Wouldn't hesitate to board our dog here again. Thanks, Theravet!
