Bowie ingested a piece…read moreof hard boiled egg on the ground, I immediately removed it from his mouth to then see that it was covered in tiny, black pavement ants. Within seconds, he started to panic. I opened his mouth and he was blue... I immediately called Milford Animal Hospital where it is less than a mile from my work. I told them that I was 2 minutes away, he was blue and barely breathing and her response was, "Sorry, we do not accept new patients." ARE YOU &@$#%&# SERIOUS??? NEVER in my 25 years of working in Emergency Veterinary Medicine would I EVER, EVER refuse to see an animal in respiratory distress, especially to the point that they were blue. Thankfully, it was an acute reaction and Mendon Animal Clinic did not hesitate to ask me, "How long before you're here?" Those would have been my exact words if the role was reversed. Bowie is now doing well, huge shout out to the girls at MENDON ANIMAL CLINIC!!! You Rock! On the other hand, SHAME ON YOU "MILFORD ANIMAL HOSPITAL".... you messed with the wrong girl. I will FOREVER tell this story to as many people as I possibly can, I talk to many everyday. Bad news travels real quick.

Now that we have found Dr Augusto at Milford Animal Hospital, we couldn't be more pleased...he is gentle and reassuring...and knows his stuff. My dog had to have many teeth removed. There were no difficulties and now my 13 year old fur baby is like a new dog...happy, energetic, and always looking forward to his walk and food. If only I had switched sooner he may not have needed to have so many teeth removed. Thank you to the staff as well...great group of people.

I was nervous, and the cat HATES going anywhere! but they were very gentle with him, drew blood and got him all of his shots. He's been back for an outdoor-cat immunization series (2 visits) and for a scratched cornea. He still hates being in his carrier, but it's always nice to see Dr. Delong. Dr Platteo walked us through everything and even though it was still really hard she, and the staff made it very easy during a difficult time. What prompted me to write the review however was after a week or so we received a hand written letter from Dr Platteo that was incredibly nice. We will be going there for regular services as well. Losing a pet/friend is never easy but it was a comfort to know what was coming and the care they showed.

I have switched to this vet around 2019 and every time we go we always have had a different vet and…read morethey were all so lovely and the people at check in. recently my senior dog has had eye issues this one doctor (dr.cambell) stepped up and has made sure we were with him every time and not a different doctor to make sure the progress was checked by him. my dog had a bad day and he was willing to take her within an hour at a different location that he was working at just to make sure she was alright. this is the best vet and has the kindest workers. they also will call after appointments to check in just to make sure everything is alright. 100/10 recommend to everyone

Making…read morethe decision to euthanize an elderly pet is not an easy one to begin with, and to not even receive acknowledgment on such a sensitive matter is disheartening. I contacted 3 other in home service providers only after waiting 36 + hours for at the very least an acknowledgment , all of which got back to me within hours of me contacting them. This goes a long way in this type of practice. While I understand an immediate response isn't always feasible, i Am still sitting here, my animal now over the rainbow bridge with no call back.

They provided us with transparent pricing for a chest x ray that one of my cats needed to clarify a new asthma diagnosis, and did not go ahead and just do it until we agreed. My cat is doing great on inhalers now, and we were able to get them relatively affordably by using the paper prescription provided at an online Canadian pharmacy. For me being in the exam room with my cat/cats and I have always been treated with kindness, respect and compassion! My most recent experience was with Dr. Sawyer and an incredible vet tech!
