Her and her staff are the most professional and friendliest people on the Island. From my fist visit in 2005 to Sep 19, 2022 when I had an emergency root canal, I was treated with the utmost respect....from check-in, insurance coverage, pre/post procedure, to follow-up. I even received texts from Doc Sarah the next day asking me how I was doing.....and that treatment over the years has been consistent with my wife and two boys ages 18 and 22. She booked me right away and my appointment was within five hours of hanging up. Fantastic service. What a miracle. I called a different dentist in the same area just before ESD; and of course, encountered a rushed, unpleasant, rude receptionist who just needs a new job. Facility clean, dentist ran on time. Work needed got done efficiently. Comfortable, clean, loved my new patient gift too. A nice touch. They stand out so yes, this practice deserves five solid stars! Come here you will be happy. The front office is as helpful and informed as the medical staff in the back. I had all of my teeth removed and long term infections all taken care of in just a couple of visits. The people were very friendly and helpful and I would reccomend them to anyone.. If you need dental care these are the people to call.

So, sooo awful. I wouldn't refer this place to my greatest enemy. A few reasons why:…read more 1. *Scheduling is a nightmare.* They have THREE locations, meaning Dr. Trahar is splitting her time between THREE offices. And they take on way more patients than they can realistically service. You'll have better luck scheduling a wedding venue than this orthodontist. And god forbid you can't make an appointment, you'll get bumped by 5+ weeks. At one point, they blamed it on a Covid backlog, but I started treatment before Covid and it was just as bad then (and it's just as bad now at the end of 2023). 2. *Service is overall poor.* Once you do finally get an appointment, you'll see Dr. Trahar for about 3 minutes total. It's wild how unapologetically this woman prioritizes QUANTITY over quality (see point #1). After a year of sub-par treatment, I confronted Dr. Trahar on what I believed she was doing poorly (not fixing my snaggle tooth), and she told me, "Kiddo (I'm 30+), your expectations of straight teeth might be a little too high". 3. *You'll pay a premium.* Despite the two points above, Dr. Trahar charges substantially more than most orthodontists. Before starting treatment, I had 4 consultations and she was by far the most expensive. Silly me, I assumed higher price led to better service, but now I see how wrong I was. I've paid this orthodontist $6k to straighten my teeth, and she tells me "my expectations of straight teeth are too high". So ridiculous. The only saving grace in that entire place is Rebecca (receptionist) who is an absolute delight. You're too good for that place, Rebecca.

His teeth are a special case and he has had braces for almost 4 years now. Mary Trahar very kindly said she would finish the treatment no matter how long it took, even though my insurance only paid up to a certain point. They have gone above and beyond all expectations. They have a very clean and professional office and the staff are friendly and quite helpful. Would definitely recommend !!
