The claim took entirely too long to resolve the investigation of Elder for stopping my treatment and scheduled surgery, an established patient, for getting a 2nd opinion offered by my insurance. All he did was call me to say... "he could no longer meet my needs". He is extremely unprofessional, guessing on an ego trip and the staff is rude and incompetent. Even the insurance pre-auth found a number of procedures as "determined not to be medically necessary". Also, Elder never discussed any alternative treatment options besides surgery. How is this not a violation of AMA Code of Medical Ethics? His action has caused financial issues for me to seek a new ENT, repeat treatments, costly tests and MRI. Silver lining, learning that sinus surgery is not a solution for Allergies! Beware.
