I loved the tour I am a Miami native and don't usually patronize tourist attractions. We were a group of 12 for my friends's daughters' birthday.. I cannot praise our tour MC enough. Nancy was so funny and entertaining, I would do the tour again. The rundown of the mansions owned by the rich and famous in Hibiscus, Palm, Star and Fisher Islands, with additional narrative was hilarious! I highly recommend this tour, whether visiting Miami or living here!
Found Bayride Tours on Groupon and decided to try the Mojito Sunset Cruise definitely a great choice! Our boat was delayed by about 30 minutes, but it honestly wasn't an issue. The location has a nice strip of outdoor restaurants and bars, so the wait was actually enjoyable. Once aboard, they take a photo of you before departure, which was a nice touch. The bar is located on the lower level and offers a variety of mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas, and small snacks. I ordered a Long Island, and it was nice and strong lasted me the entire cruise! During the ride, we toured past celebrity mansions and took in beautiful views while watching the sunset. It was such a peaceful and scenic experience. Overall, a relaxing and beautiful time. I would definitely recommend!
We needed something to do between our cruise exit and flight. And this tour was great for that. It's about 80 minutes on the Bayside area with a tour of who's who list of mansions along the waterfront. The boat itself is simple. Has two floors; restrooms clean; and also a full bar. Heads up water is 5$; drinks abt 20$ so plan ahead for Miami heat. Our host was enthusiastic and spoke fluent English and Spanish. We enjoyed it. Worth checkingl out if you have time.
Took the sunset cruise (there's a Groupon) and had a good time with friends who also had not yet done this tourist activity because we all live here. The tour was fine, the scenery was great, but there could probably be a better organization at the pier itself. So first take your voucher or payment card to the little broken down building at the far end of the boardwalk. It's farther than the Victoria's Secret reference. All the way down. THEN get in line at pier 5. Take your boat photo (20 bucks onboard and worth the momento if your crew suck at taking group selfies.) Honestly it's a great activity for getting out in the air, maybe learning something g or getting a different view. It's not a luxury boat. It's a functional boat with an expensive bar in board. Bring your own snacks.

Amazing experience! It was our last day in Miami with a few hours to spare before our plane left later that day. It was completely last minute so we rushed to try to make the 2:30 tour. I remembered seeing them on Groupon so I purchased the tickets there for about $11 each which is 1/3 of the price (roughly). The workers checking everyone in weren't so friendly but everyone else was including the ticket booth worker and all the workers on the boat--especially the driver and tour guide. The tour lasted around 90 minutes which is perfect. The boats have a part that's exposed, a part with a covering, a lower deck with high tables, side seating, and chairs in the center so it really accommodates all preferences in terms of sun and seating. I typically get sea sick but I was fine the whole time since the waters were calm. During the tour, the "pirate" pointed out a ton of celebrity houses including those belonging to Shakira, Jackie Chan, Diddy, Ricky Martin, Rihanna, and many more. It literally beautiful houses back to back. When there wasn't anything important to point out, there was music playing so you can chill out. As you are approaching the end of the tour, there's a beautiful view of the Miami skyline but pictures don't do it justice. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially if it's a sunny and beautiful day. They do allow outside food so definitely bring water to stay hydrated.
Great value for the price! Vero did a great job narrating and man, can that captain drive, navigating the channel. The views at night were incredible and almost everyone gets a seat along the sides of the boat. Scenic tour of miami skyline and narration of celebrity real estate. There was a bar at the bottom deck.
The tour itself was fine. The guide was lively, funny and interactive. We enjoyed seeing all the mansions and Star Island. We were still expecting more though and we couldn't put our finger on what. It feels like it didn't have to be as long as it was. What rubbed me the wrong way is the raffle. They collect your info and pull names towards middle of the tour. The "winners" get an offer for an 8 night condo stay at a choice of locations or a cruise to a destination spot. I was so shocked when my name was called because I never win raffles. But of course there was a catch and it wasn't that you had to just pay the taxes, which is fine. What they don't tell you right away is that you have to sit through a 2-hour presentation about something or another to receive the voucher. It would seem like a fair enough trade off, but I'm not so sure how many ppl visiting MIA have the time to do that at whatever hotel location they send you to for the presentation. Just seems deceitful and it was awkward. I could've did without that. Also, the tour guide was going around for trips which is fine, but she also made it very awkward and almost peer pressured her tips.
Purchased a Groupon for our group to do a sightseeing boat ride from Bayside in Miami. The Groupon price was only about $10 each. We phoned for the appointment in the afternoon. The booth is located behind Victoria Secret. They gave us a voucher to board the boat. The tour is about an hour and a half. Our tour guide was very funny and entertaining. We had nice views of Downtown Miami, Biscayne Bay, the Miami Port, Fisher Island, the lavish homes of Star Island, and Miami Beach. It was a fun tourist activity.
We did this boat tour today. We had purchased a Groupon and had no issues redeeming it. Thankfully we only spent under $10. The boat didn't have enough seating for everyone to be outside on the top deck. All you really see is a bunch of random mansions from the backside and stay close to the bay. A lot of the facts the guide gave out were wrong about who have or previously owned a house. Also the guide was pushing for tips too much at the end.
We had an amazing ride! The team was super entertaining and felt safe all the time. The view was breathtaking and saw a lot. Was the 7.30 tour with amazing sunset view.
Great tour. We took the family and it was fun to be out on the water on a nice boat just cruising around and seeing the harbor, the city, and some crazy nice houses. If you've never done it, try it. Especially if you haven't been in a boat, seen Miami from a boat, or want a low risk experience. We paid $20 each. Was about as much as going to a movie as a family. Good fun and a good service with a nice boat and nice tour guide.

Tour time 7pm. Recommend in the hot dates, book the later tour. 7pm was hot but cooled down as the sunset. Yes, arrive 30min early. Recommend on Fri-Sun, arrive really early to avoid all the traffic. We took an uber to avoid the parking lot and traffic. One negative experience was the (BLEEP) Language!!!! From the music!!! Wow!!! This is not a family boat ride! I was only offended when the person behind me was loud, dropping the N-bomb like 100 times, yelling, all while the tour guide was on the microphone sharing fun amazing experiences... The tour guide was 10/10. Just wish he would have told the man behind me to take the call downstairs. Also, I guess allowing music like 50 cent, and other artist that drop the f, b, and well every word, is just a warning if you bring kids. Can't get made is someone sings along dropping those explicit words. I play all sorts of genres in my car, house, headphones... I tend to avoid singing this aloud in public. So yes, that was why you don't get 5/5... the tour was great!! Wish they did their tours at night. read more
Whether you're a tourist or a local, I highly recommend Bayride Tours. Great way to see a nice side of Miami that's unseen by many. Located on the north end of Bayside, be sure to arrive early to start the wait if you wish to secure good seats on the upper deck for great views. Once the boat leaves the dock, they do open up the front area of the ship which I think is the best spot on the boat. For about $15, this tour is amazing as you cruise around seeing some unseen areas of Miami that not even locals may be able to see on the daily. Millionaire mansions and yachts owned by celebrities and billionaires can be seen. The tour guide does an amazing job narrating your cruise keeping you entertained. Highly Recommend the evening cruise we took to enjoy the sunset and breathtaking views of the city lights! read more
We took the Bayside celebrity house tour and it was such a vibe. The boat ride started at 7:30 pm but I recommend you get there at least 20 min prior as there will be a line and people like to get the best seats on the upper deck. The boat ride was really smooth and the tour guide keeps you laughing while pointing out the celebrity mansions on Star Island and Fisher Island and provide fun facts about the mansions and the celebrities. The tour is scenic and relax and you get to enjoy the breeze while admiring the Miami skyline. Totally worth it and a must do in Miami. read more

Found this via Groupon. Location was hard to find as we had to "guesstimate" the proximity of it. Luckily we were able to get on 4 min prior to getting our tickets. Total cruise time was around 90 minutes. Not crowded during the week. Make sure to get a groupon as I did not think it was worth full price. Definitely do not purchase any alcoholic beverages as they are overpriced and do not charge the prices as advertised and the bartender did not make what we ordered. Narrator was very annoying as well with her tone of voice. Scenic wise was nice read more

Enjoyed the nighttime cruise of the mansions on star island, the gentleman who was conducting the tour was very thorough and knowledgeable and provided the cruise in both english and español. You may purchase drinks on board as they collobrate with "Mojito Bar" a bar located in the bayside shops, so expect prices to be according. Simple seating, music playing, a few nice opportunities for photos, and they will take a photo of your group at boarding and make available to you for purchase before the cruise is over. read more
Great experience on this super nice boat. They gave us drink vouchers for water, soft drinks, or beer. They took us around the whole shore and told us who house was what. The host was very knowledgeable and made sure you knew what house she was talking about. The inside had a/c and tables. Upstairs only had benches. I highly recommend. Located on the back side of the bayside market place, we got our tour off Groupon. We had read previous reviews and expected attitude about it. We received it immediately upon walking up to the window for check in. We were told all tours were sold out, then we were told you can't use Groupon on the weekend and we pointed out we could and then were told well due to a holiday weekend (Father's Day) we'd have to pay the difference. One of the other ticketing ladies stepped in and said we could go and had the guy print the tickets. There's no number to call, there's no way to get ahold of them prior than going there and asking questions in person. The overall boat tour was great! Got to see lots of celebrity homes, shipping port, the cruise liner area, and other misc things. Learned a lot about the history and culture of Miami. It was really great overall, just a rocky start w the ticketing office so therefore docking a star. read more

The tour was fine. It has odd seating and it appears they oversell the prime seats. So if you have a preference get in line early (which we did). There is a bar with overpriced drinks, but the mojito was tasty. It was nice to get out on the water and see some of the beautiful homes and the small islands.. I was sitting on a bench type seat with padding that was part of the boat. It was the best seat for having a great view but very bad on the back. Luckily he points out places on both sides. read more

Purchased a Groupon to go on this boat tour! Only paid $10, the tour was exactly one hour long. The tour guide points out sights from both sides, but one side definitely got the majority of sights to see so it kinda sucked to sit on the other side. I went on the 6 PM tour and the boat was not filled, there was definitely a lot of room around. I really enjoyed my experience and for $10 a person it was really cool for a tour and to ride on the boat. The tour guide was really fun and energetic, there was a bar on the boat but I didn't check it out at all. All in all, pretty cool. I got there 25 minutes early too secure my seat on the boat. Make sure to purchase the Groupon if you're interested!! read more

When we first arrived in Miami, we arrived early in the morning and we walked around the Bayside Marketplace. Since it was around 8am, most shops and restaurants were either still closed, or just setting up to open. While walking along the coast, we did see there were many boat tours available and we told ourselves that we wanted to ride one before we left Miami. Let's jump to 4 days later. Ultra was done and we had just checked out of the hotel. We had time to kill before checking in to our other hotel later that afternoon. So we decided to return to the Bayside Marketplace and ride a boat tour. I wanted to do a Pirate boat tour, but we would have to wait a couple of hours until the next scheduled ride. So as we walked passed a kiosk for Bayride Tours, a man working there persistently asked us to do a boat tour with them. It costed us $30 per person and we decided "Ah why not?" We set up a 3:30pm boat tour and when it was time, the 3:30 pm group headed onward to the boat. As we handed our them our tickets we started off by taking a picture (by parties). We managed to get a seat on the top, by the edge. Perfect. The boat tour itself was about 1 hour and 30-45min. We road along the Miami coast and the host would explain about mansions and houses that belonged to different celebrities. Of course they were beautiful but the actual boat ride was nice and relaxing as well. It was a hot sunny day but the breeze felt cool and refreshing. I didn't care too much about learning and knowing about who's mansions belonged to which celebrity. But what I did love was the fact we were on the ocean with the refreshing breeze that passed us by. It was a most relaxing and enjoyable experience. read more
