High Spirits liquor store in Bayonne is one of the best liquor stores in town. They have an amazing selection of wines, hard alcohol, and beers. Plus, they always have everything your looking for in stock. Located on Broadway between 37th & 38th street, this is almost directly in the center of the town. Although there is no parking lot, it is pretty easy to find a spot along Broadway most hours of the day. One of my favorite things about this liquor store is their beer selections. They offer so many kinds of craft beers, not only from NJ but from all states, as well as all the classic types of beers you would be looking for. If your a wine lover, this is the place you want to shop at for wines, as there is many rows of all kinds. Their prices are pretty cheap too, much cheaper than most liquor stores. High Spirit of Bayonne is my local liquor store. It even feels weird calling it just a liquor store as it's so much more than that. There are a few other choices in the area but no other will offer the friendly service combined with the knowledge High Spirit offers. You're always greeted by one of the 3 guys on site. Always offered assistance, but left alone to browse if assistance is not needed. They have a huge wine selection not to mention a decent craft beer selection with most if not all seasonals. Paul is a wine and spirits guru. This guy knows his stuff. Don't expect to ask him his opinion on something and not get schooled. I went in looking for a Single Malt without much knowledge and was quickly given a crash course in Single Malts and helped in choosing a nice $80 bottle as I was on a budget. My review is primarily for the craft beer selection. They have a ton of choices and most of which are refrigerated and ready to drink! As a current California resident, I see many of my favorites on their shelves, such as Ballast Point, Rogue, Stone, Lagunitas, and Sierra Navada as well as new local regional favorites like Ithaca, Goose Island and Brooklyn breweries. There's plenty of wines to choose from too if you're looking for that perfect dinner party gift. A clean, bright establishment with quick service. Good job high spirits!! read more
