The floors and the overall state of the bathroom were similarly revolting. I have taken photos of these conditions and would be happy to provide them as evidence of the state of the room. It is ridiculous to expect a guest to pay full price for a room in this condition. Regardless of the location, guests deserve a sanitary environment, and this stay fell far below any reasonable standard. I can honestly say that I never intend to stay at this hotel again. You need to do better for your guests. I promise you the CEO or the FCO or the COO. Would never live in this type of condition. Never so why should we pay a monthly fee or weekly fee or daily fee to live in this type of condition? While there are making millions off the guess. I'm living in the fancy homes in mansions. They want us to live like this. Give the hotels a great 5 or fours and walk away. I don't say nothing with this. We need to do better this is ridiculous. This should not be. A condition of a hotel, will you have to leave your head? I use the bathroom or the ironing board or the iron. I would not recommend this hotel in this condition. Do better test, do better.

Don't miss the original hardwood floors and antique Persian rugs. The owner, Mrs. Janice Michael, provided delicious quiché, a breakfast casserole, fresh fruit, juices and hot coffee ever morning. She would prepare the dishes in individual serving ramekins the evening prior, so all we needed to do is warm the them in the microwave. This was awesome- we could eat at our convenience and on our time schedule, not anyone else's. Each room has it's own private bathroom, television, wardrobe, books, wing back chair, king bed, and luggage stand. The spaces are amazing, quite, romantic, and extremely secure. One absolutely can not go wrong enjoying this historic bed and breakfast!!

We were there only for a night, sadly, but it was perfect for what we needed. My man has since raved about our stay at Lofts to everyone and that's the highest form of praise from a dude who isn't usually a fan of a B&B. Nestled in a sweet little town with restaurants that are sure to please. The owner is wonderful. Very willing to share her area with her clients. She is a lifelong resident and knows her stuff. Highly recommend.

Now the disappointing news. I had only enough hot water for a tepid shower in the morning. The heater was over-ambitious and kept my room too warm; dropping the temperature seemed to have no effect. I was assigned a room next to the elevator and could hear the bells and conversations throughout the night. Similarly, and I know these are niggles, but the automobiles on the adjacent highway and in-room refrigerator generate significant sound throughout the night. A lot of potential for a great place to stay. Unfortunately, for $136/night (with the taxes included) I hoped for more. Update: I was charged $113 (total including taxes) for the room.

However, from the most expensive hotel we have EVER stayed in, we expected much better accommodation. There were NO TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM. The floors needed mopping. When I brought it to the attention of management at the desk, they explained they are short staffed, like most places these days. Someone needs to check the rooms before allowing guests to come in. We came in exhausted & went to bed as soon as we could. This morning we were shocked to see there were no towels available!

The room itself was musty and didn't appear clean. The room must have also had some mold issue because I woke up with stuffed sinuses and phlegm. And there was a waxy polish on all the table surfaces that got all over my stuff. It had a horrible smell and felt greasy like Pam-the spray oil. I was beyond upset. It is so unnecessary to spray with this awful product. I tried calling the establishment several times and was never able to reach anyone. It's as if there isn't anyone who works there or they choose not to answer the phone. I also contacted their site and didn't receive any help. I'm very disappointed. This hotel needs to be updated and the cleaning procedure needs to be altered. Stop using unnecessary products to give table surfaces a "shine" and instead clean the rooms! Don't stay here! Stay as far away as possible.

In room #1 the sheets were stained with blood and urine, the refrigerator was dirty and had mold inside it, the outside of the refrigerator was filthy and looked as though someone marked it with engine oil. The microwave was dirty and was unusable. The toilet in room #2 leaked and instead of management saying so, he went and mopped the floor as if her were cleaning it. The bathtub had a hole in it and was tapped using a blue duct tape. When we complained about the condition of the rooms, the manager told us that if we wanted better then we would have to find another hotel. And that is what we did. We are working on getting refunded for the days we didn't stay. I should have known better when seeing a broken down car without a tire with the hood open sitting in the guest check in area and also seeing the pool that was beautifully pictured on the hotel's website tarped over. The hotel is not habitable and the customer service is nil. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

If you are even looking at reviews for a place, you have expectations, so I don't recommend wasting your time. I feel sorry for the owner if this is a budget issue. If it is neglect, shame on you.

There was a huge sign over one of the doors that said laundry so we decided to do a load. We called to see how much the machines were and they said they had no laundry- it was for the hotel. The front desk staff were completely awful and didn't seem to want to rent rooms as we we were coming from out of town. Booking and paying for the room from outside through bullet proof glass should have said enough but we wanted to try it anyways. After getting everything set up we were off to our rooms we had 8 people total and so two rooms were a must. Our room was absolutely discgusting there was food in the bed snot on the walls and the sheets hadn't been washed in months lots of nasty brown and old blood stains. Most all of the furniture was broken which we took pictures of to avoid extra charges. My daughters room was even worse the cleaning staff must have been hired by Stevie wonder. There was rat poop on the tables in the drawers and the floor had so must dirt and garbage laying around again the bed were absolutely disgusting in that room as well. We were in the rooms a total of 5 min before we decided to leave. While walking back to our car and the front office we were unpleasantly greeted by the pit bull running loose in the parking lot. The owner of the property denied having a dog and didn't believe it was chasing my children and growling at them though I'm sure the whole town could hear them scream. It took longer to convince them to give me my money back than the time spent in the room itself. After asking for the money back they asked why we didn't like the rooms I informed them of the questionable stain and animal turds in the room and the owners wife scowled. We needed up booking a room at the economy in just two businesses down an it was amazing nice crisp sheets and extremely clean plus no pit bull. After explaining our situation to them and the experience we had down the street she even gave us a discount and a later check out time. She also informed us that the relax inn was known for hourly rates gross. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone aside from a prostiute needing a spot to seal the deal.
