Inside elevator nasty!!

If your looking to stay at a disgusting hotel then this is the spot. This place is so disgusting the sheets are ripped as a business owner who does this. The lady told me When I checked and that this was the last suite congratulations ...ya ok with your bug infested room if you don't believe me look at my photos, I bet the owner won't even respond because they know!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Not sure what this was

Horrible horrible place AND wydham corporate will do nothing to help you. Was told multiple times that wydham only has their name on it but each hotel is independently owned and the manager at this location makes all the decisions and it will take 12 days to get to any resolution. We left and might have to pay for it but no amount of money is worth staying here. The lock on our door was also not working. I guess this place is good if you want to send your most hated realtive here. Oh and to top it off we had someone walk into our room after we checked in, guess they weren't done cleaning it...

The adjoining room door.

Rooms are disgusting, staff are rude, and exterior doors do not often lock after you pass through them.

We were in town for a coin show and decided to grab a last minute room for three before heading north for SFA to visit my oldest daughter. About 5 o'clock in the evening I pulled up to the lobby and my wife went in looking for a decent rate and got a $180 rate (it's about $260 total charge- $50 hold for incidentals which is refundable, and $210 after local taxes for the room) Very clean and nice "new" feel. It does have a convention meeting area and the staff was very nice from the front desk to the cleaning help. We liked the night lights attached to the bottom of the bed that are motion detection in the event you get up in the middle of the night. Gives you great lighting for your feet but doesn't really disturb the rest of the room. They also have them in the bathroom. Pillows were a bit too mushy in my opinion and the shower heads did not have the pressure I like to have so this one falls just short of top ratings for me. Felt very roomy for two double queens and we had a pretty good view of the front parking lot from our room on 7th floor to keep our car in sight. There is a dining area on site but breakfast is not included in the room fee so you have to pay separate for that. There is a quick convenience area if you want to pay inflated prices for Nicknacks/snacks. They did have two chargers in the self-parking garage, but warning it is quite a long walk across the conference rooms area and you need to bring your room key to gain entry back into the hotel (and also in the elevators here to the rooms). Two level 2 chargers (about 14 miles an hour recharge), with a sign that said 4 hour charge limit. Safe place, decent deal last minute, and nice and cozy feeling inside. I'd say this is more of an on the road stop rather than a destination stop. I will include separate review, but an awesome sushi/hibachi place right next door is also worth a try!

The TownePlace Suites in Conroe had none of that of course! It would be weird if I left a 4-star review if they did! TownePlace Suites was super clean. Almost as it was a brand-new facility. If it is a brand-new place, then it makes sense. If it is not brand-new then the staff does a great job. The studio room has a full-sized fridge, a couple of stovetop burners, microwave, Keurig, and a dishwasher. The room is laid out great with a desk for working. The place is perfect for an extended stay. I am not big on fan on the usual hotel chain breakfast, but I love it when they have bananas and a lot don't it seems anymore. I grabbed a banana and a muffin for my drive. I wasn't expecting much but this muffin was some sort of lemon berry with a lemon curd in the middle. It was delicious! I almost turned around so I could get another. Definetly would stay at again!

The staff were courteous and friendly, and our room had an ample supply of towels, silverware, and dishes. I also love the room having a Keurig, and my Louisiana-raised self really appreciated the Walk-Ons being within walking distance. We stayed in a studio suite, which was perfect for the two of us, but if we had a child with us, it would be a tight fit. If more than two are in a room, a one-bedroom suite (or two bedroom) would have plenty of space for everyone. I'll also note the hotel was extremely quiet, despite its close proximity to 45. There are a ton of shopping places in the area, including a TJ Maxx on the other side of the freeway. If we need to stay in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

The woman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, too. Cons: -no microwave - no fridge - no coffeemaker - only bar hand soap provided - small, scratchy towels -scratchy sheets -weird outlet placement - we specified non smoking and definitely got a room that had been smoked in, although it had a nonsmoking symbol on the door. This is the main reason I'm leaving a lower amount of stars. Gross. We bought febreeze but our mattress even smells like it. I will not be coming back to this Motel 6. Possibly never any Motel 6 again. $50 a night is budget friendly but we have to go out to eat as there is no fridge or microwave, so we end up spending more money. I guess if you're really into dry cereal & pb&j sandwiches, you could make it work.

Very first interaction was of the manager trying to threaten a working dog clearly trying to find a proper place to relieve itself. Rooms are dated despite the pretty pictures, nothing about this place is a "good deal" which is probably why they have 2 motels connecting.

Not that our room was terrible, it wasn't like the other Fairfield Inns I've stayed at previously. Google said this hotel was built in 2010 and it shows some wear and tear for sure. Check-in went ok. The girl at the desk wasn't overly friendly but that's ok. Our room was ok. Smaller than other Fairfields. Decor was "meh". Beds were comfy though. Shower was poor: pink mold on shower head, wall that the shower head was on was cracked in half and they slapped some caulk on it. Bathroom door was closed upon entering and when we opened it, we were overwhelmed with the smell of bleach. Mini fridge, microwave and small coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was good. "Egg McMuffins" sandwiches were a nice surprise. Other items included: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, cereal, etc. Coffee was good as well. We swam in the outdoor pool. It's a touch on the small side but that didn't bother us because we were the only ones there. Outdoor furniture was old. When we were checking out, they began testing the fire alarm, which was alarming for sure. No heads up with that. No employee checking us out either. Just left our keys on the desk. All in all, it was a decent stay.
