Only walked on floor after shower trying to get dressed for a wedding! Had to wash feet before I put shoes on. Hotel is just filthy!!!

Hotel was extremely dirty. 1st room we were offered had spider webs in the raggedy lamp shades, gum and paint stuck on the floor, sheets was not on the bed, dirty carpet was not vacuumed and we had paid thru Hopper. The web site is misleading and the pictures. The so called cable went out and did not come back on. I was told the pool was open which it was not, the lobby was very dirty. People was smoking at the entrance door. Hotel was very shocking. Elevator was down and we were offered a room on the 3rd floor, which was also unexceptionable. Finally got another room on the 1st floor which was ok but the floor was still very dirty. Took a picture of my feet from walking inside the room and carried it to front desk and showed the lady. She said Sorry! lol I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It needs to be shut down and renovated and they also need to train the staff on how to clean and repair.

I am only giving 1 star, And that's because the employees were nice. And I am sorry you work there. When we checked in. Our room was not ready yet. We waited 30 min. When we arrived to our room, The shower was leaking on to the bathroom floor and we couldn't get it to stop. The second room they gave us. Had people in there already. So maintenance was called to fix the leak in the first room. And house keeping cleaned. But the stains on tbe furniture, the bedding. Mirrors and walls. The carpet was so disgusting. That cabinets really need to be replaced. No coffee makers in the room. And if you do stay here . Bring your own cleaning products.

    Missing nob

The front desk was great but the room was horrible. Smoke detector was disconnected, microwave is missing nobs, room smelled like someone was smoking. I informed the front desk about the issue during my stay. I was eager to get rest and reinformed the front desk when checking out

This hotel needs to be torn down. The ceiling outside was falling down. The cement walkway was a mess upstairs. The elevator was broken according to the front desk. The jacuzzi was filthy. We filled it up and got in and I touched the inside wall and it was gross. It had remnants of other people taking a bath and not being cleaned. We could not get out of it fast enough. We ran to the store and bought Scrubbing Bubbles and and cleaned it ourselves. There were dead flies in the windows. How does housekeeping not see dead flies, how do they not clean the inside sides of the jacuzzi.

I wish I could give minus points for this place. It's horrible. I had a roof leak And got sent here. It was horrible. Blood stains everywhere. Oh, right, Westwood Village Apartments sent me here. This place is bad, but Westwood Village sent me here. And they knew it was like this. Be warned.

    Mold growing on wall

I stayed there several weeks ago through a travel discount site through my employer. I first had a hard time finding the hotel since the directions in my GPS had me turn to an area in between two other hotel and the hotel sign was not very noticeable from the road. When I finally found the place. The hotel looked very old and had a very "hoodish" demeanor like being in projects. The lobby area was ok except for the fact that the bathroom was inop. The smell from that bathroom lit up the whole downstairs area. The room left alot to be desired as well. Was areas of mold stains and old caulk or sealant in bathroom. There was creaking sound in the room when you walked towards the door. The whole hotel and room looked like it needed an update. The room halls smelled of cleaning supplies and Marijuana. complimentary breakfast was very subpar. No waffle mix, no eggs sausage, bacon, or hot foods. I was glad that I was only staying for one night. Hotel definitely needs a face-lift. I definitely will not be back.

This is the lobby bathroom with an Handicap Accessible Sign. Good luck using this with no grab bar within reach.

Claims to meet ADA standards. I have photo evidence they do not. My Mother called to see if they had grab bars. They technically do, but in a useless location. They are above the toilet too high to reach. Bathroom in lobby has accessibility sign, but photos prove it is also not meeting standards. I am unsure how this hotel got approved for ADA standards, but if you are disabled stay away from this hotel. Also the Handicap parking is very hard to find and not near main entrance to the lobby.

There is a laundry (one washer and dryer) but if you time it right, it's enough. The pool is nice, many young families used it in the time I was there, as did I once. The gym has the basics, dumbbells and a treadmill. My only issue is that the Peloton bike does not connect to the internet and they are unable to fix it they tell me, so it's as if it doesn't really exist. Part of me choosing them was that Peloton bike that ended up not working. There is daily breakfast which is above average, and 24 hour coffee and tea available; along with a small market and the occasional free cookies by the front desk. Parking isn't an issue, it's well placed, close to the highway, and there is an Italian restaurant within walking distance. I plan on staying there again the next time I'm in town.

One room had hair in the bed, and while clean sheets were provided, staff refused to assist with changing them. More concerning was a serious safety issue -- the door to one room did not properly lock and could be pushed open from the outside without a key. Another room door showed visible damage as if someone had tried to break in. This is completely unacceptable. When I reported this, I was told the hotel was full and nothing could be done. No relocation, no real attempt to fix the issue, and no compensation offered. To make matters worse, guests next door were extremely loud, and repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. This stay was far below Hilton standards, especially when it comes to safety and customer service.

An EXPEN$IVE learning experience !!! the 1 star is for the only positives part of the experience because they had water pressure that was good, with hot water, breakfast was free... not a huge variety. (Scrambled eggs, sausage links, pre packaged oatmeal, cold cereal, waffle maker, toast and bagels) The pool and hot tub looked amazing just didn't have time. Heard it was heated. The flaws on this hotel... Too many to list. At check in - front desk staff was somewhat welcoming. I'm platinum elite member and was looking for upgrade complimentary as per the membership team advised me they left notes on the account page. Not available I was told because they were sold out. important to note via Expedia, booking.com and the Marriott app all room types were able to be booked the 3 nights I was staying. If not complimentary I was even ok with an small increase in price to upgrade. Again denied that. But I could pay the full price to upgrade... But then I would forgo the current reservation monies... And if I left the hotel altogether I would have suffered the early departure charge and forgo the money on the card I used. I didn't think $1400 for the upgrade was worth it. Even though the sheet is on the side of the counter showing Marriott brand upgrade and benefits.... It had me reach out to Bonvoy assist for clarification. They said they would bite my account and have rep reach out from the hotel. Never happened. We get to the room. It wreaks of a 1970s bar of cigarettes (non filter kind). I check the pillows...sure enough down feathers in pillows. Thankfully I pack EpiPens and I triple check that it's on our reservation... I take the pillows down to front desk to inform them as we left for a bit. We returned to have the staff tell me that new pillows aren't down. I get to the room. SURE ENOUGH down pillow was provided. I repeat the process of getting new pillows... Day 2 I am awakened to the smell of smoke yet again. We returned night 2... Same situation. Room wreaks of cigarette smoking... This time I went back down to the front desk. They said they will do some checks on where it's coming from. They come to my room at 11pm to let me know they can move us rooms... Family in bed and nighttime routine already done... (But I thought they were sold out of all other room types) I am a Marriott rewards member and choose this hotel chain based on positive previous experiences with the brand... I may have to start staying with the Hilton chain go exclusively with them. (Due to numerous mistakes on attention to detail) Down allergies are a real thing...and can get serious quickly. I choose to inspect all pillows before heading for the bed..and when checking into the room first thing as I can't trust Marriott properties to look on the reservation where it reads down allergy. Feather free room. This was an experience I felt needed to be documented to upper brand management...so I will email with pictures of my experience. If in the area again (Family/friends in the area). Admin/management of this hotel isn't trustworthy. THIS hotel doesn't get a 2nd chance - family decision. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

Let me be clear, NO ONE should choose this hotel if they have a choice. I should have read the…read moreprevious reviews but that's my error. This hotel is dated, worn out, and in need of a major renovation. I stayed for two nights and couldn't wait to leave. Here are a few of my grievances: - TV turned on but was all "snow". Could not get reception. My colleague siad he could see an image but the remote didn't change any channels, only turned it on and off. - Bath towel had a hole in it. Yes, they are this old that they're worn out. - Shampoo holder was nearly out of shampoo when I checked in, ran out on 2nd shower. Shower soap was only 1/3 full. - Plates in kitchen were dirty, could feel the encrusted food particles of previous guests. - Breakfast was "meh". I chose to skip and eat elsewhere based on condition of the rest of the hotel. Last note and it's just the icing on the cake for me. As a Marriott Elite you are typically given 2 bottles of water at check-in for Marriott properties. It is NOT a guarantee but when I asked the Front Desk Agent she smugly said, "We don't do that here." I asked her then if she could just charge 2 waters to my room from the cooler. This she did and they were $5 ea for a small bottle of Aquafina. Just pointing this out as it aligns with everyone else's thoughts about this ownership group. I will never stay at this hotel or the Fairfield as apparently they own both.

Where do I even begin with this review? I stayed here a few weeks ago due to a power outage…read more Everything in Metro Detroit, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties were booked solid. Despite reading horrible reviews I was desperate. There was one room left here. I thought how bad could it really be? I found out the reviews were true. For starters as soon as I walked into my room it reeked of cigarette smoke. Then I went into the bathroom and the tub was not clean. There was hair and a film of grime in it. The toilet seat was gross and looked as if it had multiple cigarette burns. The furniture and bedding were tattered and dirty. The walls were gross and the heater was grimy and part of it was broken. The phone and lampshade were covered in grime. I decided to call the office out of desperation since the smell of cigarettes was so bad. This is supposed to be a nonsmoking place. I pleaded for another room if available. Turns out someone did not show up so I got to move to another room. On my way over to the new room I noticed there was dog feces all over the grass. Be careful to only use the sidewalks here. Be aware though the sidewalks and stairways look like they have not been swept in quite some time. They were littered with cigarette butts, leaves and trash. This new room I'm guessing was supposed to be a step up. It was only slightly less dirty than the first room. The tub and toilet were better, but as I sat on the bathroom toilet and looked at the walls I wondered if the stuff on them was boogers, vomit, feces or all 3? This room reeked of cigarette smoke too and had a musty smell. The heater wasn't broken, but the only options were to keep it on all night or off. The heater is right below the window so the air moves the curtains up. The wi-fi also sucked. At this point it was getting late so I had to put my child to bed. I was worried if the bedspread and blankets were laundered after every guest. They stunk like mildew. The blankets had cigarette holes in them. Pillows were lumpy and smelled horrible. Despite checking the mattress for bed bugs, I still worried about bringing bed bugs or fleas home. I got very little sleep. This place is next to the highway so all night long I heard traffic. The smoke alarm has a flashing green light that never stops and is right above the bed. I also was awake because the smell of the room and bedding had me gagging and coughing throughout the night. The next morning I checked out. I didn't even care that I had paid for another night to stay here. I just wanted to be gone! After check out I took a peek at their "breakfast". It was two plastic containers of cereal. Nothing else. The juice machine had a sign that said it was broken. I noticed a school bus there to pick kids up. I feel sorry for children having to live at this place. I would not recommend anyone stay here if there are other options. I'm disappointed that the Days Inn, a well established chain would run a dump like this.
