We recently had a large old maple in our back yard that we needed to have removed. Because we don't have access for a bucket truck, and it was in a challenging location near power lines and overhanging a neighbor's fence and gazebo, it required experienced climbers to do the job. When getting estimates from several tree services, we were particularly impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Brad Baylor. He knew quickly what would be required, and was very accommodating in terms of meeting our particular needs. When they arrived to do the job, it was a pleasure to watch how organized and skilled the team was. They were almost military in the efficient way they proceeded to work; no wasted motion! I can't say enough good things about this company. They gave me an estimate that was lower than others I had received. When the day came for the work to be preformed they were here right on time. It was like watching a NASCAR pit crew. Everyone had a job to do and just did it. This crew worked nonstop. There was no standing around. If something needed to be done, someone was on it. They did an excellent job on everything I wanted done, two bushes removed and the roots ground, two trees removed and the roots ground, two trees limbed, and a large Tulip Poplar cleaned of dead wood. The Baylor's Crew spent two days removing an enormous maple on my property as well as trimming two other large maples and a mature oak. I expected some large trucks to be driven onto my property, but instead the Baylor's team climbed my trees with ropes and saws to complete the jobs. When they were finished they removed the stump and raked my lawn. No tire treads to fill with dirt. No grass needing to be replanted. I could not be happier with the work they did for me. Baylor's was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a contractor. They came out and looked at my job and by the end of the night they emailed me a very professional quote complete with pictures and with a thorough itemized list of items! We agreed on a start date and they showed up bright and early on that day and worked quickly and efficiently all day and then the next day (2 day job). We live in a dense urban neighborhood with a fenced-in yard, not possible to bring in a truck. Baylor's was great in every way. They responded to our calls promptly, they contacted our next door neighbor to get permission to go into his yard (one of the trees was his), they were right on time, they removed our huge apple tree and trimmed our neighbor's maple where it was hanging over and touching our house. We had a decently sized very dead Ash tree too close to our house surrounded by brick walls and expensive landscaping. Brad and his team did a great job in removing a large honey locust tree from our front yard and trimming some other trees around our house. They were prompt in providing a reasonable estimate and were able to schedule the work shortly thereafter. It took them less than one day to complete the job, including chipping up the branches, removing the large trunk, and grinding out the stump. They worked well together and cleaned up nicely.
